Come and relax at "The Beach Hive" Cottage! Approximately 70 miles from Washington D.C., 14 miles from Patuxent River Naval Air Station, and 16 miles from Saint Mary's College. This beach cottage can sleep up to 7 guests (1 Queen, 2 full, and 1 twin bed). This cottage features everything you need from a fully stocked kitchen, cozy living room, private bedrooms, and an outdoor shower to rinse off after a day on the water. It also features a front porch for sipping coffee and a screened back porch for evening cocktails. Beach access is just a few minutes walk from the front porch. Enjoy dinner and drinks at Ruddy Duck Seafood house or famous stuffed ham from Chiefs Restaurant. There is a boat ramp within 1 mile of the cottage where you can put your boat/jet ski in the Potomac River or do some recreational fishing!

Home away from home.

We really enjoyed our evenings at the cottage. It was quaint, charming, very clean, and comfortable. Michelle was very acomodating and attentive.

Great little spot

it’s not fancy, but it’s clean and it’s easy to find and if you have to be in St. Mary city or near Leonardtown, it’s a great place to rest your head. We would take it over a hotel any day and we’ve done many many trips down to St. Mary’s College for swimming through the years. This is the first time we chose VRBO and we can honestly say we would do it again it just makes sense for our family. special shout out to Michelle as she was extremely helpful and extremely responsive. Anytime we reached out to her.
