Gracious Woodstock Retreat -Walking Distance to Town

Elegant yet comfortable home in a rural wooded setting on 2 private acres, and only a 10 minute walk from town. King Bedroom Master Suite has panoramic views of the woods, marble bath and separate entrance. Huge Queen L-shaped Bedroom Suite with 2 Queen beds, one on each leg of the "L"; Sectional Sofa with 54" HDTV, Private Bath, and Separate entrance. Two additional bedrooms both have Queen Beds and share a bath. Fully equipped kitchen, WIFI, Fireplace/wood burning stove, Gas grill and 50 foot deck.

Check-in Time starts at 5:00 PM and Check-out Time is 11:00 AM except by special arrangement.

Other Things to Note:
Our home is in a very peaceful neighborhood. In order to preserve that serenity for our neighbors, we rent our space for lodging only, rather than as a party venue. There are several wonderful places nearby that we recommend to our guests for their parties and events!

The home is very spacious and was perfect for our girls weekend. I appreciate that all of the beds were queen or larger. The home is well stocked with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay- we cooked at home twice and had all the kitchen supplies we needed, as well as well stocked bathrooms etc. Alan was very responsive and easy to work with.

This home is wonderful and accommodated seven adults very comfortably and with room to spare. It has a great lay out that allows privacy if needed. The communication with the host was outstanding, answered any and all questions very timely. It was conveniently located and only a short walk to town. Wonderful week with family

Stayed for a week with extended family. Plenty of room for 5 adults and one child. Incredible location walking distance to most of what Woodstock has to offer. Short drives to awesome hiking and trail running. Near Hannaford supermarket and much more! Can’t wait to return!

Really wonderful house in ideal location....tucked in the woods but only a mile from downtown Woodstock. The owner met us there when we arrived and provided us with all the information taht we needed. All of the bedrooms were so well appointed and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!!

Wonderful Family Weekend in Woodstock

My sisters and I spent our annual sisters' weekend at this beautiful home in Woodstock. Everything was as advertised, right down to the beauty and comfort of this home. We easily walked into town and found plenty to do. The home was so beautiful that we cancelled our Sunday plans and just stayed put. There were 6 of us, so we had plenty of room to spread out, and easy spaces to all be together. Alan met us there for a tour when we arrived, and could not have been more gracious. We will definitely return!

I vacationed in Woodstock and the Catskills for many years before finally deciding to put down roots and buy my home 12 years ago. . I have always loved the natural beauty of the area and was particularly drawn to Woodstock for it's cultural offerings, creative energy, wonderful music, diverse people, great food, excellent shops and galleries. In Summer months I enjoy hiking, biking and swimming in the local water holes. In Winter it is such a treat to walk in the snow and come home to sit by the fire. The Fall Leaves are beautiful although I am very happy to have someone else rake them :-) Halloween and Christmas are very special Holidays in Woodstock when the entire town gets together to celebrate. In short, you can do as much or as little as you want here and it is an easy, casual and beautiful place to relax. I am passionate about decorating and design and my career has been in Home Textiles for over 20 years..I take great pride in having a warm and comfortable home and I look forward to welcoming you as a guest...
