Experience the peace and quiet of a classic country setting in the contemporary comfort of brand-new construction at this beautiful Ellijay cabin. This is a place for summer evenings spent barbecuing and roasting marshmallows around the firepit, with the sparkle of fireflies illuminating the surrounding woods.

Newly completed in 2023, this rural home is wonderfully secluded about 10 miles west of Ellijay. It makes a lovely home base for your North Georgia adventures, whether you're kayaking the Cartecay River, attending the Georgia Apple Festival, or orchard-hopping and wine-tasting your way across the region.

So named for the fireflies that charm the property in spring and early summer, this home is a wondrous place for spending time outdoors. Sip your morning coffee in the rocking chairs on the covered deck, light the gas grill on the patio in the afternoons, and end each evening with ghost stories around the firepit.

Inside, the main living space is on the upper floor, full of elegant finishes and new furnishings as well as a TV. Cook with ease in an open kitchen with stainless steel appliances, sit down for family meals and board games at the dining room table, and spend your evenings playing Ping-Pong and darts in the unfinished basement. Of the bedrooms (both with TVs), one is a primary suite with its own bathroom. A washer/dryer, central air, and complimentary WiFi are provided as well.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
