Hi! I'm Christina Esteban, your host! I am your Montreal wedding, events and portrait photographer. I have been capturing my client's best moments of their lives for over 15 years. During the pandemic, I took a big leap and decided to build a house in the forest to create a relaxing space for my guests to get away, create connection, find peace and restore the mind. My goal has always been to create and capture beautiful memories, as this has been my greatest gift of all.
Why they chose this property
I love the foggy mist that rolls in almost every morning over the valley and up the mountain towards the house. I love the serenity of the tall trees surrounding the house, the deer and turkeys that pass through and the luxurious, modern ammenities, including indoor + outdoor gas fireplace, large terrace with a covered porch for part of it and the extension that features the forest. You feel like you are on a stage looking into the forest. I love the japandi garden behind the house, where you can enjoy a wood burning fire and gather around on the natural stone from the mountain. The 2 bedrooms have 2 King sized beds, with their own private terrace and ensuite bathrooms with walk in showers. The 3rd bedroom has an exit to the japandi garden, ensuite bathroom and shower.
What makes this property unique
This house is unique in so many ways. It is a bungalo, with the bedrooms thoughtfully placed on either side of the house with privacy in mind. It has sunrise views with landscaping that is second to none. This house is meant to be lived inside and out, featuring a hot tub, bbq, private spaces, outdoor dining and well thought out privacy. It is a large lot of land, (1 acre) Modern and luxurious kitchen and cozy living space to just relax with all of the comforts of city living.
