My cottage is located directly on the beach and has amazing panoramic water views. Enjoy the sunshine and sunset from the private deck facing the water and lounge around with the family on the patio furniture!
You'll be right around the corner from all the best restaurants in town to go out and grab food, then get right back to the cottage with ease.
The Space: Two bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other a queen bed. There is also a futon couch in the living room.
The main space has a TV, dining table and nice kitchen stocked with all of the essentials.
Nothing is shared other than the parking spots and the stairs leading up to the property
Guest Access: Guests will have access to the entire unit, which is part of a 3-story cottage
Other Things to Note: The side to the right of the fence on the beach is PRIVATE PROPERTY. The area guests are allowed to use is in front of my cottage to the LEFT of the fence. And kind reminder that there are NO BONFIRES allowed on the beach.

Nice view but disappointed
I spend sometime think about how to write this review after our stay.
Let me start but saying the views from the deck were beautiful. We loved going to Crystal Beach itself especially because you could not swim in the lake off the private beach, which was one of the main reasons we chose this rental, due to sewage.
When we arrived, we were met with an overwhelming smell of mold and mildew, so much so that we couldn’t be in the rental for more than 10 min without needing to go outside. So we opened all the windows, turned on some fans and went to dinner hoping it just needed aired out. When we returned it was somewhat better. As I didn’t want to ruin my daughter 13th birthday trip,we decided to stay. I did have trouble sleeping in the back left room as I’m sensitive to mold, so I took some allergy medicine and slept on the couch.
As we woke up the next day, we realized the toilet was clogged and had to use the facilities at the park. The owner was quick to respond to my emails and had a handyman come out while we were gone for the day exploring Niagara. When we returned that evening, it was flushing, although slowly. By the next morning (last day of our stay), it was clogged again. I emailed the owner to let him know that the previous fix was temporary and he should look into getting it properly fixed in the future.
So overall we did not let this ruin our trip and enjoyed the town and close proximity to Niagara.

Terrible experience
Firstly, the photos of the property gave us the impression that we would have the entire house to ourselves, but upon arrival, we discovered that it is actually divided into three separate units. This was quite misleading and not what we were expecting.Secondly, the steep stairs leading up to the house were packed with snow and ice, and it was evident that no effort had been made to clear them. This made it very difficult and dangerous for us to access the property.Thirdly, once we entered the unit, we experienced issues with the power. The lights were flickering, and none of the heating units or the gas fireplace were working. It was quite disappointing to find out that the host was already aware of this issue before our arrival. We spoke to the tenants leaving the upstairs unit, who informed us that they had no heat since the day before and were also very upset.Fortunately, we were able to find a much nicer place on River Road in Niagara Falls that accommodated us last minute.
We had a wonderful stay! Home was charming and proximity to beach was wonderful. Thank you!

This was our first time in this property and I have to say that everything went down beautifully. Property was clean and well equipped, the owner was responsive and care about the client, safe, quiet, overall a great family trip/vacation spot. I would highly recommend to go Bay Beach rather than entering the private beach in the property since Bay Beach is full sand. Definitely recommend and will come back again in the future.
Had a fantastic time staying here on Lake Erie. The house was clean and equipped with everything we needed to cook, clean, and hangout! The view was unbeatable and the host was responsive and wonderful :)
