Villa Aphrodite - Luxury Elegant Villa With The Most Stunning View of Corfu

Villa Aphrodite commands one of the most stunning views on Corfu island. From the front terraces bordering the swimming pool one looks out across the sea channel to the Greek mainland, the coast line and mountains of Albania and the fortress above Corfu town.

The villa is set in its own private garden on a hillside of pine and olive trees above Mon Repos, the birth place of Prince Philip. The fountain of Kardaki lies below on the fringe of a small beach. Within the garden there is a 10.5 x 4.5m private swimming pool of 1 - 2.2m depth.

The interiors of Aphrodite are of a classical style with a beautiful combination of Greek marbles and oak. The four bedrooms lead out on to private patios and the spacious living areas of the ground floor open out on to shaded terraces bordered by flowers, trees and shrubs. The swimming pool lies on the same level with the living room, with its own surrounding sun terrace.

The villa enjoys a secluded, peaceful location. Our guests usually rent a car, so they can have easy access to shops, tavernas and beaches. Nearby Corfu town caters to many tastes for cuisine and nightlife. In about 800m from the villa the guests can also choose the regular blue bus to Corfu town.

For something different, during your stay you can hire a yacht with skipper and enjoy your private cruise around Corfu coast line and nearby islands, such as Paxos.

If you don't like the hot summer weather, villa Aphrodite is an excellent choice for all seasons. Come and see the spring flowers, or the fabulous autumn nature. Also, a must-see is the famous traditional 'Corfu Easter': The brass bands of the island will amaze you parading through the historical town center, playing classic music.

Ground floor: large open-plan sitting room with fire place, well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, and WC, all leading to terraces.
First floor: master double bedroom with en suite bathroom and whirlpool bath, one twin-bedded room with en suite bathroom and shower, two double bedrooms and one bathroom and shower.
Lower ground floor: one room with bunk and one toilet.

Best View in Corfu. Amazing Host.

We stayed at Mina’s for a week. The view from this house is amazing. The pool an terrace are probably the best in Corfu. Mina is the most amazing host, always making sure you are comfortable and going out of her way to make your stay perfect. Highly recommended.

The pool and views from the terrace are excellent and beautiful. Outside areas made up for some internal issues. Kitchen and bathrooms could be updated. Toilet tissue cannot be flushed so be aware it all has to go in bins. 5th bedroom in basement is not ideal as bunk beds in with washing machine/no view. It would be beneficial to have a car as the property is on a steep hill and it is a ten minute walk down steep steps to buses and local shop. Very steep steps down to rocky cove, not a sandy beach. Host lives within property and was very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Beautiful villa

We were 8 members of the same family (with ederly persons and two children) to spend almost one week at Villa Aphrodite. The villa is perfect for all generations: comfortable, spacious, very clean and the view is incomparable. It is very pleasant to have breakfast, lunch or dinner or just a drink on the terrace. The villa is only at few minutes by car from the center of Corfou. Mina made our stay very special: she knows Corfou very well and gives good advice on what to see and what to do. She cooks also very well and it's a pleasure to discuss with her.

Spectacular and One of a Kind

Mina is a star! She was incredibly thoughtful as a property manager and made sure that everything we needed was taken care of. Her care and warmth were above and beyond what I have ever received in similar stays around the world. The property itself is one-of-a-kind. It is truly spectacular and I would (and will) stay here again when I return to Corfu in the future. 10/10 without hesitation.

Me and my friends spent amazing week at Mina's house this summer. House had everything that we needed, super comfortable with beautiful interior and exterior design. View from the pool is just breathtaking so you can spend hours simply looking at the panorama around Corfu's port. Mina is the most helpful host you ever had. She left us fridge full of food and prepared delicious dinner to welcome us. She was ready to help whenever we needed to find a fresh fish or rent a boat. Great place to spend your summer!

What an amazing home, and an amazing host. The house was comfortable for the 8 of us staying there. It was great to have laundry and a great kitchen to cook if you want to. The host had dinner for us (delicious) the first two nights and filled the fridge with yummy fruit and fresh butter and cold cuts. The view was beyond fantastic. We could explore the near by gardens and jump into the sea. The pool was fantastic. The night time view and hanging out by the pool was perfect after busy days. We even had a cocktail party for friends and family and the Host was so helpful. The house so comfortable. We did have a car and it was easy to get around and park at the house. I really can't say how much we enjoyed the stay. It truly was like staying at a families home. Warm and inviting. My friends back home would like to stay there. I recommend exploring the grounds with the fresh herbs. And exploring the path behind the house. SO FUN. There is AC in each room which is great but also can open the windows/veranda doors that also have screens for fresh air. It was quiet and great for sleeping. I really can't recommend this property enough. Run don't walk to this property in Corfu. Truly a wonderful place, you will feel like home.

Look no further

I implore you to stay at villa Aphrodite if planning a trip to Corfu. Obvious conveniences - close to the airport, walkable to Corfu town, and the property is absolutely gorgeous. It's the home of a wonderful woman named Mina, who has a separate apartment on the property, and makes your stay all the better. Aside from respecting your privacy, we arrived to a home-cooked meal from her, homemade bakalava, and she was incredibly helpful in organizing various amenities during our stay. These include massages, transportation (shout out to Stamatis!), cleaning services upon request, car rental (car delivered and picked up at the villa), and Mina even drove us for quick trips nearby! She's such a wonderful woman, vacation grandmother, and homestay host. She cared so much about our needs, our privacy, and made our trip so much better, and easier! Mina, her team, and their driver Stamatis, plan all your transportation, including airport arrivals and departures. They even track your flights if your group travels on various airlines and times. So if someone is delayed, they already know and will adjust pick up times without you worrying about a thing! And to reiterate - the property itself is beautiful. Mina takes such good care of her villa, and the outdoor areas and pool are breathtaking. Hiking paths next off the property lead to cliffside beaches and a beautiful stone dock you can hang out on and swim for hours. Thank you Mina! You enriched our stay and we hope to be back again!

Charming place with an amazing view.

Very friendly and helpful host that gave us a very warm welcome. We arrived in the evening and she made sure we had everything we needed. Upon waking up in the morning, the view from the villa was just breathtaking - would need more pictures to capture it. The villa was spacious, very comfortable beds, great living room area and outside patio perfect for breakfasts with a stunning view. We very much look forward to going back in the summer.

EXTRAORDINARY hidden paradise in Corfu

We rented the magnificent villa Aphrodite for several months this year and also invited friends and relatives to stay there. The villa definitely enjoys one of the best locations on the island, an idyllic site with a spectacular panoramic view on the sea and the Corfu old castle, only a few minutes’ drive from the airport and the lively city centre. We must have taken hundreds of photos but none can convey the real splendour of the place. The villa itself is elegant and spacious, in a traditional style and with a personal touch that makes one feel cosy and secure as if staying with friends rather than renting a holiday home. What makes Villa Aphrodite a truly rare jewel, however, is the extraordinary hospitality of its hostess Mina, who from the very first contact did everything to accommodate our wishes: special dietary (allergy) concerns, car rental, advice on dining or places to see. As we arrived the first time, Mina was there to welcome us and to make sure that we’d know everything about the house. She did the same with every arrival of our guests, welcoming them with fresh flowers and fruit from the garden, home-cooked food, wine, and grocery enough to last for days. Thank you, Mina, for your attention and for making your guests feel at home! I can’t wait to be back next year, perhaps already in early spring. I’d recommend Villa Aphrodite to any solo traveller, couple or group of family or friends who wish to combine a breathtakingly beautiful setting with the best of Greek hospitality.

Analipsi, is a small and quiet hamlet with a few houses, very close to the town, 20-30 min walking or 5 min driving. The neighbors are kind and very friendly with the foreigners. Mon Repos Park is just beside the villa and Kanoni with Vlaherna and Pontikonisi (points of interesting) is in a walking distance.
