About this property

Triple Creeks-Lake Erie, Elk, Conneaut, Walnut creeks! Fish, Hike, Hunt - Enjoy!

Triple Creeks is in a quiet little town just a short drive east to a larger town, Girard and close to the Ohio line to the west.

We are fortunate to have excellent fishing on Elk, Crooked, Conneaut, and Walnut creeks and just minutes from Lake Erie and incredible sunsets and beach access at Racoon Park, Lake Erie Community Park and Conneaut Township Park.

Nearby you will find small town restaurants with great food, pubs, churches, groceries and you will only be 1.5 miles from the I-90 interstate access.

A 10 minute drive east takes you to Girard which is a larger town where you will find quaint shops, gas, groceries and more. A 15 minute drive west into Ohio you can experience waterfront dining, Conneaut Harbor, a beautiful beach and more. Conneaut is home to the annual D Day reenactment.

There are many wineries, breweries and distillaries within 1/2 to an hour away. A trip to Erie you will love the Lake Erie Bayfront with a marina, fishing, restaurants, jet ski rental and more. Presque Isle State Park is a MUST while you visit.

Upon arriving you will find contactless access to this one floor, fully furnished, 1 bedroom with a comfy queen bed. There is additional sleeping in the LR with an oversized Lazyboy chair with a pull out single bed. The sofa could also be used for sleeping if need be for a child. All your bedding is provided as well. We have provided TVs and you will have access to wifi also.

The bath has a corner shower (no tub) and towels are provided.

The spacious kitchen is well equiped with gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishes, silverware, pots, pans, utensils, coffee pot, toaster etc.. There is a dining area with a small table with seating for 4.

We do have designated off street parking (room for small boat if needed).

Whether you are here for a fishing trip, a family gathering, enjoying Lake Erie or just a much needed get away, we have tried to provide everything you would need for a comfortable stay. If you should need assistance, we live close by and are only a phone call away.

(The unit you are renting is part of a 3 unit bldg. There is one other 1st floor unit and the entire upstairs is another unit. These are family members of ours and they will respect your right to privacy. You will have your own access and parking aside from the other units. )

We are Chip and Becky Hosack, owners of Triple Creeks. We were born and raised in this area and love our little towns. We love to travel, although we don't get to go as much as we would like. When our children were younger we would tent camp frequently at many state parks throughout the tri-state area. We love the mountains, rivers and lakes. We decided to open our own vacation rental because when we travel now we prefer to stay in BNB's or STR's. We like the comfort of the accomodations over a hotel room. We would love to have you as a quest if you are in NW PA or NE OH looking for a comfortable stay.

Why they chose this property

The location of our vacation rental is in a small town just a short drive from interstate access. You would be staying in a private 1st floor apartment which is part of a 3 unit building we brought back to life about 8 years ago. The other 2 units are occupied by family full time. We are on a main state route just minutes to many restaurants and shops within 1/2 hour drive east or west and makes a great stop if visiting, fishing, hunting and more. If you are looking for waterfront, there are multiple steelhead fishing creeks within a short drive of Triple Creeks, Conneaut Harbor with a beautiful beach and dining, Lake Erie Community Park, Elk Creek Access, Historic Ashtabula Bridge Street, Marina and harbor, Presque Isle State Park, Lake Erie Bayfront, and so much more. This area is rich in history. Many wineries, breweries and distilleries. There are state parks for hiking, biking and kayaking.

What makes this property unique

Triple Creeks is unique because of our location. We are very close to many popular steelhead fishing creeks and fishing excursions on Lake Erie. There are also thousands of acres of public State Game Lands to hunt.
15 minutes to the west in Ohio is Conneaut Harbor. They have a beautiful public beach, boat access and the famous D-Day reenactment every summer. Conneaut and surrounding small towns are known for their wineries.
We are 30 minutes west from the Ashtabula OH harbor area which has been revitalized over the last few years with restaurants, unique shops, breweries and of course the draw bridge over the Ashtabula river.
Just a 30 minute drive to the east in Pennsylvania is Presque Isle State Park which is a must to visit if you come. Nature trails, paved walking/biking trails, beautiful beaches all on an incredible peninsula of Lake Erie. The City of Erie and surrounding areas has a large shopping mall, many excellent restaurants, breweries and wineries.
Whether just stopping overnight on your way to your destination, visit for a family reunion, coming to fish the lake and streams, or just see what NW Pennsylvania has to offer, we welcome you to stay with us at Triple Creeks.
