This condo has been beautifully renovated. Both bedrooms and the living room open onto a spacious 40 ft private balcony. There is a
King Bed in the Master bedroom and 2 twin beds in the guest bedroom.

1800 Atlantic is directly on the Atlantic ocean in Key West, adjacent to Smathers Beach the City Beach with a variety of watersports activities available.

The property itself features assigned secure parking spaces, 3 lighted tennis courts, one of which is the only clay court in Town. There are beautiful botanical gardens with picnic and BBQ areas.

The Olympic size heated pool sits on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, There is also a 20 person bubbling Jacuzzi tub. There is also a sauna and small fitness center by the pool.

High speed internet access.

Elevator Upgrade project taking place from June - September 2026 - Please note there will still be one working elevator in both the East and West building while this project is underway.

The chicken Coop Condo is amazing! The check-in process was easy. We didn't get there until 10:30pm and felt bad to call Julia so late to let us in, but she was very gracious. The beds are extremely comfortable. The shower pressure is strong and not just a little trickle. I appreciate that very much. The living space and balcony are both very spacious and every room has a great view. The beach and pool areas are beautiful. The grounds have a very nice walking path. I love that the building and grounds are secure and we had an assigned parking space, so I never had to worry about parking availability at night. I would highly recommend this condo.

The condo had everything we needed and more balcony than we knew we needed! We were pleasantly surprised by the tropical oasis in the courtyard as well. Very comfortable bed and living room furnishings to include the pull out sofa! The only hitch was the parking spot, not well marked and very tight.Hope to come back one day!

Although you are a sand wedge to the beach, the beach is not accessible from the property. The place was clean and space overall was perfect for a family of four. There appears to be a tiff amongst the people who live full time at property and the vrboers. There was full time “security” at the pool and no fun was allowed for kids or they would be kicked out. Until this gets resolved i would have your kids or anyone who wants to have a decent time at the pool book this property.

The condo was absolutely beautiful. The view was amazing! Everything you need was provided. Location was perfect! We had an unforeseen issue and management handled it promptly. Just note that the emergency numbers are located on the plaque next to the front door in the hallway. I would highly recommend this condo! Looking forward to going back someday!

Great spot - would stay again!

The condo was so quiet and nice compared to the other side of the island. It was nice being close to Smathers Beach and the airport, plus we could walk to some other good spots. We also loved the pool.

Great location. The balcony is reason enough to stay here. Well equipped kitchen, baths, towels, etc. A bit dated, but well maintained and clean. We’d stay again for sure!!

The property was just as explained and the view was beautiful! Very nice, clean, and close enough to the Duval St. area! We enjoyed a few short Uber rides and a quick walk to local beaches. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook tor the family. Would highly recommend to anyone and bring our family back to stay!

Place was very spacious and clean. Pool was huge and had a lot of cool "extra's" like a gym and small library. Uber was super easy to get. Would stay there again.

The Condo was spacious, clean, and as described per the photos. The building is a little dated. The pool and the hot tub were very nice! The view from the balcony was lovely! Just a short drive to town and a good location. However, the condo did not smell fresh. We thought it was maybe due to the sargassum that was on the beaches. The elevator that was closest to our unit was not working which made for a very long walk to the other elevator that was working. The hallway was very warm on the inconvenient walk to the elevator. Also, the air flow a/c in the condo was inconsistent. Freezing cold in the bathroom and warm in the bedrooms. Master bath shower did not have a door which if you were not careful water would go everywhere. On a positive note, the condo was stocked with everything that you could need. I would rate it a 5/5 but I’m only giving a 4/5 because of the broken 2nd elevator. Overall, we had a very nice stay at Tom’s Chicken Coop!
