Perfect location. Short walk to beach, pools and restaurant.Loved the ground floor so never had to walk down hallways or use elevators after we arrived.

This was an amazing combo unit at Honua Kai! We loved the ground floor and ability to get to and from the beach/pool easily without dealing with elevators and hallways. It was very comfortable for our family of 8. The hosts were absolutely amazing and responsive-cannot say enough good things. I would only rent from them in future Maui stays.

Great location, close to amenities if needed. Property and units well maintained. Pools were great for the younger kids with a quiet area if so desired.

Disconnect between Outrigger and Maui Resort Rentals

The Outrigger people I talked to knew nothing about Maui Resort Rentals and we were given incorrect information from MRR regarding the Outrigger. Also, one day I called MRR 3 times during business hours to reserve a shuttle. No one answered and no message ability. I finally drove to MRR and was told they were having phone trouble. Another day I called and was told they had no drivers. We had to pay $200 for Ubers. Our TV remote needed new batteries. I went to the front desk and after spending $18,000 for two rooms, they refused to provide us with 2 batteries. I had to ask MRR several detailed questions to finally learn that the airport shuttle was done by a taxi service that was different from the MRR supposed to be provided shuttle. There were other disconnections between the two.

Regarding the shuttle, we deeply regret that it was unavailable during your stay, and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. As a complimentary amenity offered upon request, unexpected circumstances such as maintenance or staff availability can occasionally impact its operation. To clarify the confusion regarding Outrigger, Honua Kai consists of individually owned condos, and our company is not affiliated with Outrigger. As such, we don’t have access to details regarding their guests' stays, and vise versa. Our team, however, is available via email, phone, text, and in person at our office conveniently located across the street. We operate during standard business hours and have overnight attendants to ensure all guest needs are addressed. We truly appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve the experience we provide to all our guests. Again, our sincerest apologies for the disconnect.
