Fernie - Polar Peak Chalet #20

This 3-level townhome is the end unit and just a short 5 minute walk to the Timber quad chairlift. Better yet, you can ski back to the property at lunch time or at the end of the day.
There are 3 bedrooms located on the upper level - the master bedroom has a Queen bed with a private en-suite, the second bedroom has a Queen sized bed and the third bedroom has 2 x Twin beds. There is a shared bathroom for these 2 bedrooms. The main floor features an open concept living area with hardwood flooring, a beautiful fully equipped kitchen, dining space and a comfortable living room with a big comfy couch to curl up on in front of the gas fireplace. Head down to the lower level where in the den you will find 2 sets of bunk beds, the laundry room, a bathroom and a games table.

Fernie family ski trip

The cottage 20, was very spacious and spaces and rooms well layed out. Nice kitchen and lovely wooden dining table .The upstairs secondary bedroom had a very poor mattress, hard to sleep in because it was very soft in the middle. Please replace it. All other bedrooms very satisfactory. The location of the cottage was great, since we could ski down to it. We were not aware of this fact, please advise future occupants.In overall we did enjoy our stay in the cottage. Cheers Bert

Great house and location

The house is very cute and organized. There is plenty of room. Each bedroom could fit double. The entire unit was spacious and clean. The kitchen was stocked with the basic necessities and the gas oven was a bonus! We felt like we had quite a bit of privacy. My family walked to the ski hill and walked back for lunch. The location is amazing. We hope to come again. For such a high cleaning fee, I was surprised that I had to sweep the floor when we first came in, and wash the dishes as they were dirty in the cupboard. There were some bits in the stairs that normally wouldn’t bother me, but because of the high cleaning fee I expected spotless perfection. But overall it was clean.
