We were very pleased with this older gem. Property was clean and owner was easy and quick to communicate. We were tucked away in a quiet area but also very close to the lake and town. Our only complaint, and granted we stayed during an unusual heat wave, was the AC was one window unit in the kitchen area so sleeping in the back bedrooms was hot until the overnight temps dropped. Sand Lake is a small town, but shopping and restaurants are only a few miles away and easy to get to. I would definitely stay here again!
Clean, great location and we were able to get in a bit early to fit our schedules. Only 2 windows have screens so most windows and sliding doors can't stay open to allow in the cooler fresh night air.
This was our 2nd stay at the property. Once again, we had a nice stay! The trailer is clean and comfortable, and the host is great to work with (responsive, friendly, and helpful). We would definitely book again!
Our stay was nice. It was clean and warm and had all the essentials we needed. Any questions I had were answered promptly by the owner. We enjoyed our stay.
With few places available in the area, this little old trailer was a nice surprise. Located on the end of a quiet road with an open field across the street, the setting was peaceful and private. The place was clean and comfortable. Notes throughout the home gave clear and helpful instructions, and the host was available / responsive if needed. Had a nice stay with the convenience of being close to those we were in town visiting. Hope to stay here again!

Family Trip
We had a decent stay in this trailer. We had to run the air full blast to keep the place tolerably cool on some very hot days - and the window units were noisy - so that wasn’t the best experience. However, the place is clean, priced lower than most rentals in the area and was located within driving range of most places we were visiting.
I was raised in Sand Lake most of my life and being able to stay so close to my family and town made our vacation perfect! We traveled with my husband, our three teenagers, and myself. This place fit us perfectly. You can tell ALOT of time and renovations where put into this place. The communication from the host was above and beyond, thank you Melissa for everything. I can not say enough good things about the owner and our stay. We will definitely be back multiple times.
Set on a quiet dirt lane, this trailer getaway offers a serene escape, nestled between a sweeping open field and a calming perimeter of woods. The cozy vibes inside the trailer made us feel instantly at home. It was clean, and there were thoughtful little additions like soap and shampoo for the shower as well as coffee for the coffee maker. It's in a great location- be sure to check out the nearby trails of Howard Christensen Nature Center if you enjoy hiking. The host was exceptionally communicative, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish. A perfect spot for a weekend retreat – we'll definitely be back!
My brother and I came up for deer hunting season. We were able to get in a little sooner which was great after traveling all night from Tennessee. The place was clean, well outfitted, beds were comfortable. The property manager (Melissa and Jody) came right away when we experienced a minor problem. We even sat down for a while and talked about hunting and fishing since my brother and I grew up in Grand Rapids and know the area well. We will surely stay here again!
