Great home on the lake!!! We totally enjoyed our vacation this summer. Price was good and the owners were awesome. Whatever we needed it was already there. The welcome basket coming into the door was a great touch. Kids flew to it. I would definitely go back to this home again. It felt like a home away from home. The amenities were perfect. Our kids did kayaks together for the first time ever. Our family bonded so much this last week. Thank you guys so much for making our vacation amazing.

We had a great time. A very impressive property. The owners’ attention to details to make our stay a stellar experience was impressive. A quality weekend at a reasonable rate at an outstanding location.
Great location on lake with a beautiful view. House was perfect, comfortable and cozy-stocked with everything we needed. The large welcome basket with snacks was a sweet unexpected “thank you for staying” surprise. Hosts were very responsive in answering questions and checking in to make sure all was going well. Would definitely recommend! Looking forward to returning in warmer weather to enjoy more of the outdoors.

Thank you, Tonya. We were so happy to host you. Y’all are troopers. You even stuck it out through the snowstorm. 🙌 We would love to have you back anytime. Thank you for being such wonderful guests!!!
It was as Ali says, "A slice of heaven." My boys, my niece and nephew and I had a most memorable stay. Everything was clearly labeled and functioned correctly. The beds were comfortable with each bedroom fully supplied with towels and toiletries. The kitchen offered every gadget known to man. There were plenty of pots and pans and dishes for our use. The dock is spacious with easy access onto your boat - a perfect place to watch the sunset. There was every water toy imaginable for our use, and we made good use of almost all of them. Thank you, Ali, for the beautiful and scrumptious gift bag. The weekend could not have gone better. Thank you so very much. Great memories were made.
Our family had a wonderful stay at Ali and David’s Lakehouse! We were in town for my husband’s fishing tournament and couldn’t have asked for a better home base. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The peaceful, quiet setting made it the perfect place to relax and unwind after long days on the water. We truly enjoyed every moment and are already looking forward to returning again soon. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a serene getaway!

I love the photos! Thank you so much for your wonderful review, and I’m so thrilled you guys won the fishing competition. We would love to have you back anytime.
Wonderful location and beautiful clean home. The owners have thought of anything you can possible need or want to do.. you absolutely need nothing. Can’t wait to stay here again !
The location was in a wonderful cove. It was quite and great for the whole family. We enjoyed swimming and fishing off the dock and even brought our boat which we were able to put in at the private landing on the property and dock.
Property was clean and well supplied with games and fun for our family.
Really enjoyed the kayaks provided as well.
This home is a great place to stay. Very private and beautiful. My little dog was able to play outside without a leash because the property is completely fenced in. More amenities than other homes I have rented. I hope to be able to stay there again soon.
We loved this vacation rental. The home was beautiful, clean, and had a wonderful view of the lake and sunsets. The walk from the home to the lake was short and easy for my parents who are in their early 70s. The hosts responded quickly to any questions and made us feel at home. We were able to relax and enjoy time together.
My husband and I needed a dog friendly house to rent while in town for my nephew’s wedding. Though located further from the venue than we anticipated, it was nice to be in a quiet and serene environment while not engaged in wedding activities. The house was clean, well stocked (including snacks and extra bathroom amenities) and comfortable. The host was extremely communicative and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it without reservation.
The house is beautiful and you can't beat the lake view! Very peaceful. The thoughtfulness of the gift basket and the toiletries left in case you needed them was beyond expectation. So thankful to have found this property, only wish we could have stayed longer!

This is truly one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in. Clean, comfortable, VERY thoughtfully decorated. I don’t mean just how it looks, everything thoughtfully provided and arranged with the guest in mind. Side tables, throw blankets, magazines, games, amenities like sleep masks, slippers and a helpful basket of toiletries! Enjoyed the kayaks on the lake. Without a doubt will book again!

My husband and I had a very relaxing long weekend visit at this lake house, my second visit there. The setting is lovely and has a calming effect. My husband caught Catfish and Brim fishing on the dock. I enjoyed sitting in the sunshine in the yard and taking in the views. Ali and Brian continue to offer a clean, spacious, light and bright place to stay! They have added even more special touches to pamper their guests along with all the conveniences they offer! Thank you both!

Thank you Janice,! We love having you, and will always continue to ‘up the ante’ on special touches for you and your family. We hope you had a safe trip home.
This lake house was the perfect spot for my girls and me to make our escape and enjoy a relaxing weekend. The view is beautiful with amazing sunsets. Wildlife sightings included gray foxes and even a Bald Eagle. The house is spacious and clean and full of light. Alison and Brian have thought of every detail in providing for a comfortable stay at the lake-throws for getting cozy in front of the fireplace, games, goodies, lake towels, a memo board with tips, firewood and even a doggie life jacket! Alison was helpful and kind and readily available for questions or concerns. I plan to return when visiting that area again.

Thank you for your amazing review Janice. It is guests like you that make this labor of love worthwhile. You were the perfect guests! He took wonderful care of our home and followed all of the house rules. We would love to have you back anytime. Thank you so much for visiting.
Brian and Alison were the kindest hosts and truly went above and beyond with every aspect of their home and our stay. Not only is the entire property beautiful and clean, it is thoughtfully furnished and has every amenity you could imagine (and some you'd never even think of)! The beautiful details truly made us feel at home. The location is perfect- tucked in a quiet cove with the friendliest neighbors and beautiful wildlife. We were even lucky enough to see bald eagles and the northern lights! Our group ranged from ages 2-85 and included our pups. Every single one of us had the best time and couldn't have better things to say about Brian, Ali, and their home. If you're looking for a wonderful place to stay please look no further- you've found it!!!!!

Thank you so much for this beautiful review. It’s warms my heart to know all of you had a wonderful time. It is guests like you who make my job so much more rewarding. Thank you, Ashlyn!!
Flew in from Seattle and booked this place so the cousins could get some family time. We always look for accommodations where we don’t need to leave the property. This one exceeded our expectations! It had all the water toys and then some. The aqua lily pad for the lake was something new and a hit with kids and adults alike! The little touches in the house were so thoughtful and made our stay so much easier - toiletries, slippers, fans on the bedroom nightstands, an abundance of house and beach towels, and s’more sticks. It didn’t matter that we forgot to pack some items from home. Everything we needed was there. The grandparents drove from an hour away and were totally impressed. They plan on renting it themselves at some point. I will look no further. This is where I plan to book every time I visit from Seattle. Thank you Ali & Brian! You thought of everything!

About the host
Hosted by Alison Brigham
Hi! We are Ali and Brian. We started a company called Simpli Hosted, because we love being hosts! When we purchased this home, it was stuck in a different decade. We loved creating the perfect all in one, amenity-rich oasis. With each new renovation and detailed personal touch, we keep our guests in mind, when creating the most unforgettable experience. We hope you love it as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
We chose Lake Wateree simply because it's a quiet, clean and stunning lake. We lived in the house part-time, before bringing it to the rental market, so that we could get a feel of what it's like to live and function there. We made it our mission to provide so many amenities at the house, so that there is never a shortage of things to keep you and your guest occupied, just in case you want to veg our at home for the week. If you're adventurous like us however, we provided a carefully constructed welcome book with all the fun things to do outside the property.
What makes this property unique
It's difficult to pick 1 thing that we feel makes our property stand out, so we will have to go with 'our dedication to the upkeep of our home'. Since we stay here often, we love when it's neat, organized and CLEAN! I certainly would never want to visit another rental property where my feet or socks turn black from walking around the house, where there are gross bugs everywhere, stains on the furniture or caked on gunk and grime on kitchen appliances. Yuk! Trust me, I've experienced all of that at other properties over the years, and it's not fun. And I'm pretty sure you'd never want to experience that either. Providing a safe and clean environment is of our utmost importance.
