About this property

Located about 20 minutes east of Big Rapids MI, you will find a Cozy Comfortable cottage, sleeps 8. Lovely, covered deck with outside dining. Enjoy spending time with your family and friends on beautiful Horsehead Lake. Clean swimming area right off of private dock. Cottage includes two kayaks and a rowboat to enjoy the lake. Can bring your own water toys, Martiny township boat ramp available to the public. Great fishing and ample supply of life jackets and water toys. After a long day on the water or golf course, unwind in the evening outside by the firepit, wood provided. Tullymore Golf Resort, St. Ives Golf Course, and The Royal Golf Course at Canadian Lakes are all within 5 miles of the cottage. For those wine lovers, there are two tasting rooms near by. The Winery at Young Farms in Mecosta and Gwin Girls Winery and Tasting Room in Remus. Well stocked kitchen, linens provided, and situated on three lots at the end cul-de-sac with very little traffic. Great place for children to play. Sorry no pets allowed. Smoking prohibited in the house.

Hi, I am a native Michigan resident. I enjoy being outdoors and on the water Kayaking, boating, and swimming. I also love to cook and bake. You will find a fully stocked kitchen, as well as a barbeque area at my homes. I bought the cottage in early spring of 2023. I fell in love with the location and lake, a beautiful place where all can make wonderful memories. The home has been fully remodeled. I did some of the work myself and hired out the rest. It was a labor of love for me. I hope you find the home as comfortable as I do.

Why they chose this property

Tucked on the end of a cul-de-sac you will find the cottage. Very little traffic and noise. It's a great neighborhood with nice people. The home sits on three lots with a large yard, firepit, and covered porch for entertaining. Lots of room for yard games for the adults and children as well. It has a basketball hoop for those that love the game. The driveway is a minute walk to the lake, where it has its own dock. The water is shallow, clean and great for swimming. My young grandchildren love it. There is a rowboat and kayaks for those that want to venture out into the deeper water to paddle or fish.

What makes this property unique

The property has something for all ages. Whether it is laying in the hammock, hiking in the woods, playing in water, wine tasting, golfing, fishing or just soaking up the sun, the cottage and area has so much to offer. Great place for family and friends to make memories.
