Our stay way very nice. Beds were comfortable!! The floors need some help as we tripped on them in a couple places . We could have used some salt for the ice covered steps. We tested well. The decor was adorable!!
We really enjoyed our stay in this cabin. It was clean and nicely appointed As a Vrbo, we chose it, because it was pet friendly. It worked out well.

Location and size worked out well for me and my family. My daughter got married at the Castle down the street!

This was the perfect space for us to getaway. Our family from Michigan and family from Chicago got together and this location was just right for us. The home was cozy and had everything we needed. We will absolutely be returning.
This house was a comfortable and peaceful place for 5 older adults and a dog to stay. A beautiful location and nice place to take walks. The light outside the door did not work when we were there but I let the owner know and I"m sure it's been rectified by now.
Very comfortable and spacious. Amenities were great and clean. Just as it was explained online. Excellent fire pit. Location was wonderful, quiet, secluded, lots of trees and places to walk. Canadian lakes offer so much to do.
One thing is someone needs to tighten some of the bolts on the chairs on the front deck.

Quiet and relaxing
Had the kids and grandbaby up along with the mother in law.Found the cabin had plenty of room for all of us ,and we really enjoyed spending time on the deck. The only drawback that we found was the grass was kinda long and there was really no flat ground for outdoor games but still overall everyone seemed to have a great time

Response from VrboOwner on 14 August 2023
From The owner: "Ricky, thank you for the feedback. We keep the grass long specifically because of all of the wildlife in the area. It gives them a natural habitat to live in. Many of the cabins in the area do the same thing. If this is something that bothers our guests, we may take that into consideration and make a change. As for flat ground to play outdoor games on, there is unfortunately not much we can do to flatten the area. I do know from experience that there is plenty of room to play games like ladder ball, corn hole, and we even had room for a volleyball net for one of our guests."
Very nice and very cozy. Functional, quite, and clean. The kitchen is well equipped, not everything but enough to make due. No need to make calls during the week because something was not working or had broke. Fall colors where peak, playing golf on the Royal was superb, and kayaking on Lake of the Clouds magical. Would stay again.

We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, the beautiful fall colors, and the activities like golfing on the Royal and kayaking on Lake of the Clouds. Looking forward to welcoming you back!"
The property was exactly as described. Very cozy inside, beds were very comfortable, and we had everything we needed. During our stay there was an ice/snow storm and we were stuck inside. There were games to play, word search, books to read, Roku and coloring books for our stay-cation. It was exactly what we needed for our short getaway with family & fur babies. Thank you for sharing your property!
We had a Halloween sleepover for three friends and our six kiddos. The five twin beds in one room was perfect! The place was very clean, kitchen well stocked with appliances and utensils, and in a gorgeous area. Absolutely loved the front deck with string lights. I forgot my kindle when we checked out and the lovely owners shipped it to me. Five stars all around.
We rented this place because we wanted to enjoy a weekend “up north” with our 4 month old, our dog, and a set of grandparents. We had zero plans other than lounging around for a quiet weekend.
The place was just as expected. Communication was great with the owners.
We had everything we needed to cook a meal, enjoy Morning coffee and get some little walks in.
It was close to a grocery store and a restaurant.
We would definitely stay again!
If I were to offer a tip to someone going in the winter, the house takes a little bit to heat up, so bring a hoodie and some slippers for the first evening there.
You will definitely enjoy the place and make some good memories!
Thanks to the owners for a great weekend away.

Cozy Cabin
We brought our family up to spend the week of Christmas and couldn’t be happier. Our host put up a Christmas tree and decorated the cabin for us, which was so nice of her. We had all the grandparents up to celebrate a nice Christmas dinner and we all fit perfectly. We were able to go sledding on the hills around the cabin and enjoy many nights of board games (some of which were provided by our host) and puzzles. We would most certainly recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to enjoy a peaceful getaway with their family.
My husband and I traveled from Dunwoody, Ga to Big Rapids, MI to pick up some family heirlooms after my dad and aunt passed away a few months ago. We booked this gorgeous home on the Canadian Lakes to relax and unwind. The home is fully renovated, cozy and warm. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook. The furniture was so comfortable and the decor was fabulous. The bedrooms and bathrooms were immaculate. King size bed was so comfortable!! We enjoyed going for long walks up to the castle and golf course after each emotional day packing up my dads things. The neighbors we met were so nice. The leaves were in full color too. Faye was an amazing host and answered questions promptly when I had them. This place is a beautiful slice of happiness and I highly recommend staying here. It’s amazing!!!
