Lake Cumberland vacation home, overlooking private fishing pond

This Lake Cumberland vacation home is situated in Golden Pond resort, with it's own deck over looking a private fishing pond. This beautiful stone A frame has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths with open floor plan and modern conveniences is sure to please. With bead board ceilings in upper bedrooms and sitting area; stone fireplace in lower living room.
Two of the bedrooms each have queen beds, with the upper bedroom opening up to a second floor deck overlooking the fishing pond. The lower lever bedroom also has a queen with a master bath. The third bedroom is small, great for kids, also has a bunk with a full futon on the lower with a twin upper bunk. Please be careful when using the bunks and use at your own risk.
Lower level has open living room/dinning room combination. With a fully stocked kitchen with all the necessities including three decks, gas grills and washer dryer will make your stay a pleasant one.

Convenient to town for shopping, restaurants. Conely Bottom a full service marina just 3 miles away, for all your boating needs. Pontoon rentals as well as jet skis, fishing boats and fishing charters are just minutes away.

For the kids and adults you can walk to a pool with tennis courts, sandy volley ball court, as well as a professional horse shoe pit and other yard games.

Lake Cumberland may be the big draw, but for those into hiking, Cumberland falls is about 45 minutes away with organized trails as well as the famous moon bow.
The scenery alone is worth the drive.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house— the setting is perfect for a multi family stay with two separate living areas on each floor. The pond outside was beautiful and so serene. We loved sitting out in the deck in the morning just taking it all in. The house was impeccably clean upon arrival, and we loved that it has a washer and dryer. The check in process was incredibly simple, which we really appreciated because that’s not always the case with vacation rentals. The marina is super close to the house which is really nice and the pool was walking distance!! We would definitely come back to Steve’s place again, highly recommend! Thank you for the memories!

Nice little Thanksgiving getaway

We had a very nice time here for Thanksgiving. We were a family of 4 and a dog and the house was comfortable. Just an FYI- My 11 year old said it was very hard to get up and down from the top bunk in the one room.

Beautiful, clean, quiet, and relaxing!

The Ginger Chalet was extremely clean, decorated nicely and felt like home. We had plenty of space to spread out and also space to play games and share times. My husband enjoyed fishing in the pond and i enjoyed the outdoor space to read. We hope to be back soon! Thank you for a wonderful family time!

Very nice little chalet style cabin. Very clean and comfortable.

Beautiful property! Nice space to spread out... teenagers upstairs with their own tv, foosball, bathroom and several sleeping options. The fish weren’t bitting much but still nice to sit and relax. Very close to Conley Bottom marina. We would definitely return.

Beautiful, quiet and serene

We loved Ginger and would definitely stay again. We originally booked for Christmas 2022 but Donna was still recuperating from surgery and was not able to travel yet. Steve Allen was so gracious to allow us to change our dates for October of this year. Perfect getaway and the gold and red leaves were amazing. Enjoyed the back patio and the lake deck so much!

Weekend getaway

This was the best lil weekend getaway! We had our family and friends there to relax and play. Our boys enjoyed the pond… lots of turtles but we did catch a couple fish. We enjoyed the covered porch during the day and the bon fire pit at night. The volleyball court offered us some unexpected competitive fun between the adults and the teenagers. We had everything we needed at the house and then some. Beautiful hiking nearby too. Can’t wait to come back!!!
