Sensational Ski Stay

Updated and clean rental property conveniently located in the Solitude ski village with easy walk to lift and restaurants. Well appointed unit with cozy fireplace and club amenities was appreciated after skiing. Cottonwood Lodging was very responsive and helpful with the stay - will make this the place to stay if we ski Utah again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was beautiful, convenient, well-stocked and comfortable. We loved Club Solitude - hot tub, game room and activities for our son just down the hall. Great parking, short walk to the lift. Would definitely stay again.

The only problem was the cards needed to open doors.. and there are a lot of doors! The unit came with 2 cards and when we requested more they could only give us an app for our phones. The app was completely unreliable. It was most frustrating. We spent alot of time running around the halls opening up doors for our family! They said it because we booked with vrbo that they couldn’t give us more cards.

Sue, thank you for your review. We’re sorry for the frustration with the keycards and that the mobile access didn’t work reliably. If we had known there were issues with the mobile access during your stay, we would have been happy to provide additional physical keycards. We also want to clarify that booking through this platform does not limit the number of keycards we can provide; it sounds like that information may have come from Solitude Resort, which is a separate entity. We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to improve the access experience for our guests. Thank you again for staying with us.

Great location. Amazing living space. Lots of amenities.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a lovely condo space. The location was perfect. Close to equipment rentals, lifts, shops, and restaurants. I’d recommend this to friends. However, I do have a couple complaints about the Club Solitude experience. Being that our vacation landed on Spring Break there were a great number of children staying here. That I’m it self is not my complaint. My one and only complaint was the amount of young kids taking up hot tub space and use of games all the way up until a pretty early closing time of 9pm. I think that it would be better to close the Club to minors after 8pm and let the adults have some time from 8-10. Also, the sound control between floors seems thin. There was always banging heard from above. Not a big deal if you’re outside enjoying the mountain, but mornings were loud.
