This 4 bedroom 4.5 bath home is a blend of gracious design, warmth and comfort. Open floor plan in great room, dining area and kitchen, with 22 ft. beamed ceilings and two fireplaces.

The Kitchen is one of the home's highlights, tasteful and well appointed with Thermador appliances and an oversized island. A spacious great room with beautiful views of the pool and pond, beyond. Wall to wall accordion glass doors slide open to a lovely patio with large harvest table and BBQ/outdoor kitchen area.

Two Suites each have a king bed and bathroom plus another king room with a newly remodeled full bathroom. An additional bedroom has bunk beds, twin trundle and its own bathroom. The master bedroom features a spacious bathroom with double vanities and adjoining fitness room (also accessible from the pool area). The outdoor hot tub is just a few steps away.

Balverne is home to gardens and a small orchard. Also 15 named free range, egg-laying hens.

With the feeling that you are isolated in the countryside, you are also just 1 mile from a major grocery stores, pharmacy, restaurants, breweries and coffee shops. Literally hundreds of vineyards are within a short drive and you are only 10 minutes from the Healdsburg town Square and only1 hour from the Sonoma Square as well as St. Helena in Napa Valley.

Balverne Farms is conveniently accessible via Hwy 101 North from San Francisco. 1.5 hours from SFO, 1 hour north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Sonoma County airport is ony12 minutes away.

Beautiful home and location. Amazing indoor and outdoor space for 6 adults on a wine weekend. Great kitchen for cooking and really nice grill (after we cleaned it). Pool, outside dining/den area, and bocci ball courts were a great addition - and a fantastic spot to enjoy cocktails and a beautiful sunset. It was a perfect spot. And our hosts were great from reservation, to check in, to departure.

Luxurious home away from home

We fell in love with this house and all its amenities immediately. Most of our time there was spent around the pool and hot tub. We also enjoyed the fire pit as well as the spacious grounds. Not that the living area wasn’t beautiful as well. We just couldn’t pull ourselves away from the gorgeous view and peacefulness of the back “yard”. The beds were quite comfortable and with 7 women the bathrooms for each were much appreciated. We also loved the well-equipped kitchen. The property is in a fantastic location from which we were able to visit wineries and other sites with ease. We would definitely stay again!
