The house is within minutes of all the award winning wineries of the Russian River Valley, inspired restaurants, and a short drive to the historic towns of Healdsburg, Sonoma, and the Napa Valley. All only 1 hour from San Francisco!

The house is set up well for family groups of different sizes and the twin bed bedrooms can have the beds combined to create king beds, ideal for a group of four couples.

The property is perfect for enjoying the sunset over the mountains, lounging in the sun, cooking with friends, and tasting the wines of the Russian River while taking in the views.

We are a San Francisco family who dreamed of a house in Wine Country for weekend and summer getaways. We love family and friends, we love to cook, we love wine, we love to swim, we love architecture and design, we love to travel to Italy and France, we love scenic rolling hills in a rural setting, and we wanted to bring all of these loves together in one place.

Why they chose this property

The views are spectacular here and ever changing. The sunrises and sunsets with the mountains in the background are unparalleled. We relished the opportunity to renovate this house with respect for the details and history, while changing it in a way that is modern and conducive to family gatherings and relaxation.

What makes this property unique

The living room has a beamed ceiling with a grand fireplace, the dining room has windows on every side, the kitchen is a chef's dream, the terraces on each side of the house have a distinct and lovely view, the bedrooms are all stylish and have their own views. The 5 acre property has a large hilltop pool and hot tub with vineyard views, terraces for dining and lounging, an arbor with mature table grapes, scattered apple, plum and pear trees, and new landscaping of native grasses and meadowland.
