About this property
Spectacular Cobbossee Lakefront with Hot Tub&Dog Friendly
Spacious, well appointed year round home with 6 person hot tub (open all year), swim float, fire pit with free firewood, spectacular lake views and sunsets, air conditioning, cable TV, WIFI internet access, and beautiful lawn to the water's edge. Perfect romantic retreat for couples, or an inviting playground for a family vacation. Close to Colby College for graduation. Wake up to the relaxing sound of the loons with your own private waterfront with dock, canoe, 2 Old Town sit on top kayaks, and 2 stand up paddle boards. The house has hardwood floors throughout with a well-equipped kitchen, quartz countertops and gas stove. The living room opens up to a cozy sun room overlooking the lake with 2 futons and a table for 8. The spacious master bedroom suite is on the main floor with a king sized bed, twin day bed, and private bath. Downstairs has 2 bedrooms (one with a queen sized bed and the other with 2 log bunkbeds with 4 twin XL mattresses) and a full bath. Each bedroom downstairs has its own sliding door to the patio, which has a hot tub and ping pong table overlooking the lake. Enjoy 130 feet of waterfront with dock and deep water for swimming, boating, and fishing. The entire property is fenced in and there is a shallow water entry for dogs or kayaks, etc. You can bring your own boat or rent one to enjoy the 10 mile long Lake Cobbosseecontee and world class bass fishing! The hot tub is open year round and there is a back up generator that powers the whole house during storms. There is excellent ice fishing near the house. Boats can be rented from Beacon Boat Rental or Lakeside Motel and Cabins. There are many restaurants nearby, a local ice cream shop, Absolem Cider House tasting room, and a new winery with restaurant in the area. Indoor Tennis, Pickleball and several golf courses can also be found nearby.
Please note: We have Ring cameras outside at the front (1 camera - covering the house to the entrance to the property) and the back (1 camera - covering from the house to the lake) of the property for safety when the house is not in use. We can turn them off during your stay if you prefer--- just let us know.

About the host
Hosted by Jenifer

I grew up on this beautiful lake!
Why they chose this property
Easy access to town and everything, but still feels miles away.
What makes this property unique
The sunsets are too die for! The island directly across will never be developed so you always have a peaceful view with lots of wildlife to enjoy. Bald eagles, osprey, the magical sounds of the loons, owls, foxes, beavers, etc. Not to mention the great bass fishing - even right off the dock.
