A Frame of Mind
Had a great time at this cozy cabin. A great way to unwind and refresh. We will return again next year.
A short and simple getaway from LA with my puppy for the first time! Did some hiking and relaxed in the evening with a single malt scotch. Would highly recommend the home and can’t wait to return!

Hi Christopher,
Thank you for staying with us. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We look forward to hosting your stay again!
Upstairs loft bedroom was super cool, big comfy bed! The wood burning stove is a nice touch. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and the mini fridge is the perfect size for a weekend getaway! Our pups also enjoyed the cabin. They even figured out the spiral staircase!

loved this place
we really enjoy our 4 night stay. The A frame was confortable and cozy, and I pleasantly surprise with the amount of kitchen tools it had. The room upstairs is very warm at night, and the below stays a bit colder. Hot water in the kitchen and bathroom was available right away. I used the grill every single night. Overall I am very pleased with the whole experience. I just wish the little chimney was in working status as it would have added that extra element.

3 - Good
Communication about our reservation and stay was very clear and detailed. Definitely had no issues or questions about getting there, getting access, check-in/out process, etc. Two things that we didn't really enjoy about our stay. One: the bathroom sink drain was down and couldn't figure out how to lift that part up to allow the sink to drain faster. Two: noticed that the flooring had nails that were poking above. Although it has been cut off, it is still pretty sharp and can cause cuts if we were to walk around bare foot. My suggestion would be to sand down the nails or figure out another way to cover it.

A-Frame Fixes
We had a good time but there are some issues to fix at the cabin:
- Nails in carpeted stairs can be felt quite painfully in bare feet or thin socks.
- A few nails are coming up on main bottom floor near stairs that could cause pain in bare feet for thin socks.
- Floor tile in bathroom is cracked in multiple places and tiles shift underneath feet.
- We whacked our heads multiple time on beam behind couch. Not sure of the fix except a sign or cushion there perhaps.
- Strong cleaning chemical smell in oven when first used. Had to wipe it down entirely with water.
- Bed linens: sheets wrong size, especially fitted sheet that kept coming off.
The perfect escape from LA's hustle & bustle. Nestled in a quiet and friendly neighborhood - this beautiful A-Frame is just what we and our little pup needed.

Cute and cozy
Full kitchen, small living room, steep staircase, couch ok, bed a little too soft and cold near too window. It was very cold that week, had to constantly keep fire going to stay warm upstairs. Town about 15 min drive away. Nice neighbors. Had Netflix. Pet friendly, carpet seemed like it has had several accidents.

An amazing getaway
This was the perfect gateway for my boyfriend and I last year. We were just a small drive away from all the shops and restraunts and even got to enjoy a boat ride! A frame of mind was absolutely perfect. Almost everything you need is already available for you! Kitchen items towels blankets cleaning supplies etc. Just bring the food to cook you desire! It was clean and well maintained I would definitely recommend to any couple wanting to just get away!
