Seaside Elegance

Wonderful week at the beach. The weather was beautiful and the water temperature was just right. The wind blew really hard on Thursday afternoon causing the sand to sting a little bit. But we just stayed in the shallow water and we were fine.

Fun property, a bit run down

The property was right on the beach, near the airport and with a ton of fun activities. My kids loved all the pools and hot tubs, which was a bonus when it rained, too. The room wasn't that clean, one of the beds had very dirty sheets and when we requested clean sheets, they did not bring them, so that was disappointing. Check in folks were very nice though.

Great Room

The room was in 6th floor in Pinnacle building in the corner. Great location. Easy access to get to the beach and pools. The room did not have bugs, was clean, and the hotel gave us different towels every day, which was great. All the beds were comfortable, the couch was also comfortable to sit on and easy to put up and down when not using the bed. No ice machine in the room but there was a big one at the end of the hall that we just filled a cooler to use in the room. Had all basic cooking things that we needed. We could have used a bigger trash can for the kitchen when cooking but we made due with large trash bags and room service just took them everyday. Overall it was a great place to stay and definitely would stay again.

It was ok.

The listing said there was a dishwasher and washer/dryer in the room. There was not. The pools, lazy river, hot tubs were not clean. The property as well as the room are in sore need of an update. The two window A/C units did not cut the humidity in the room at all and none of the doors would close properly except for the deck door and entrance door. The space behind the murphy bed was neglected and dirty. As adults we were not impressed but our child enjoyed it so that is a win, though she was the one who noticed the filthy area behind the murphy bed.

Compass Cove

While the property host was responsive and the actual room was adequate, the overall property was a terrible experience.It was dirty in general and run down. The pool area was the worst. The elevators quit working and we had to take the stairs to the 7th floor.When we had to take the stairs, the stair well smelled like urine.Our condo wasn’t cleaned during our stay.There was a pervasive weed / marajuna smell throughout the resort.Parking was also a consistent nightmare and very hard to find. Air conditioning in common areas was not adequate.Staff wasn’t very friendly. Property needs a face lift and be worth the prices charged for stay.

Extremely pleased

I could not have been more pleased with the stay. Property was extremely clean from the bathrooms to the bed and floors and kitchen. It felt like a brand new space. Also very condo vibe and not hotel room vibe. I’m weird but LOVED the bathroom and how the tub was wider and the shower curtain did touch when you took a shower. Lots of staff monitoring the pre waits and picking up around the pools. Location super convenient to the beach and hotel amenities. We slept 2 adults and 3 kids comfortably and had room to add a queen size air mattress but didn’t. Had to request bedding for the pull out and Murphy but it came with in 10 mins. There was no trash can other than bathroom but we used trash bags from housekeeping. Wasn’t a big deal. I would definitely recommend and stay again!
