Looking for a truly unique experience in beautiful south-central Pennsylvania, just 30 minutes from downtown Carlisle? Conveniently located approximately midway between Washington DC and New York City, a nature-lovers paradise awaits you at Brewhouse Mountain. Located on four acres of mixed hardwood forest in the Conewago Mountains, Brewhouse Mountain has a friendly, romantic, eccentric yet laid-back atmosphere in a relaxed, natural setting where your family or group of friends can really get away from it all. Oaks, hemlocks, beeches, poplars, ferns, hostas, rhododendron, azaleas, raspberries, blueberries and perennial flowers abound in our private, wooded setting. Enjoy free fiber optic wifi on the property. Your host, Jeff Lebo, has been a collector of antique and vintage brewery advertising for over 50 years. Nearly every inch of wall space is filled with vintage beer cans from around the world, antique bottles, lithos, neons, porcelain signs and every imaginable type of breweriana from days gone by. The collection is the largest of its kind in the world and has been featured in many magazines and television shows, including Playboy Magazine, the History Channel, the Travel Channel and the Home and Garden Channel.
Brewhouse Mountain is centrally located and near many of the area's top attractions. Gettysburg Battlefield is approx. 40 minutes, Hersheypark is approx. 30 minutes, Lancaster and the PA Dutch Country is approx. 40 minutes, York is just 15 minutes and Harrisburg is just 12 minutes.
Stroll through our grounds, curl up with a book, enjoy our free WiFi or sip an ice-cold drink on the porch. Listen to the symphony of nature; pileated woodpeckers, hawks, songbirds, cicadas, tree frogs and owls. In the winter, warm yourself in front of the wood stove in our cozy, rustic lounge. We're just one hour north of Baltimore, 1 1/2 hours west of Philadelphia, and 3 hours southwest of New York City. We are located midway between Harrisburg and York, just one mile from Interstate 83 and 7 miles south of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Route 76).
The 6,000 square foot house has five bedrooms, each with a queen bed. Included in your rate is the use of our facilities: two bathrooms (one upstairs, one downstairs, each with a toilet, tub and shower), a large (16' x 50') upstairs lounge with board games, sofas and chairs, a large (18' x 36') downstairs common room with a small library, four sofas, wood stove and dining table that seats ten, and a large kitchen with a table that seats six, refrigerator, microwave, stove, oven and dishwasher. Outside we have a side porch with a glider and rocking chair, as well as a patio with a dining table that seats four. There is also an outdoor grill for your convenience. We use green, eco-friendly and locally-made products in our facility. There is plenty of free parking.
There are lots of things to do here! We are conveniently located just minutes from many local attractions:
We are just 12 minutes from Roundtop Mountain Resort where you'll enjoy great snowboarding and skiing in the winter. The largest rookery on the Susquehanna is also nearby. Here you can often see thousands of nesting blue herons, egrets, green herons and cormorants.
Recreational boaters, waterskiers and jet-skiers will be happy to know that the marina and boat ramp at Goldsboro is just eight minutes away. We are also close to the world-famous Appalachian Trail, for those looking to get off the beaten path. Mountain bikers and cyclists will love our nearby rail-trails and scenic, back-country roads. For golfers, Valley Green Golf Course, an 18-hole public golf course, is just five minutes away. There are also several other excellent public golf courses within a 15 minute radius.
For motorsports fans, the Susquehanna Speedway dirt track is just two miles away. There is also a Saturday and Sunday morning flea market and farmers market across the road from Susquehanna Speedway.
We are just 15 minutes from the city of York, which was the country's first capital. York also has good restaurants and a charming farmers market, which is open Thursdays and Saturdays. We're also just 12 minutes from Pennsylvania's capital city of Harrisburg, with wonderful nightlife, live music, a variety of great restaurants, its famous Capital rotunda and its world class Civil War Museum. Amazing property that kept guests entertained for hours with plenty of amenities and places to go in the area. The whole group can’t wait to revisit. We had so much fun here.
The place is enormous with lots of space to have gatherings. The number of beer cans is mind-blowing and at first seems a bit much. But after wandering around and admiring the collection, you can't help but be in awe of such a unique way to share a passion. Great place for a group to convene and have fun being together.

A destination all on its own!
This place is fantastic. A group of friends of mine and I spent a ski weekend here. There's plenty of parking, tons of bedrooms, many comfortable places to hangout, a well supplied kitchen and the Lebo's are super nice people. But unlike other houses there is also a great bar entrainment area, a pinball machine and an awesome wood burning stove. The main attraction is of course the beer cans. We all spent hours looking at them, taking photos of them and with them, reading them and doing a scavenger hunt. Can you find a beer can with a baby announcement or an antelope or hello kiity on it? Yes, we found all of those. Is a great place and I would highly recommended it.

Why they chose this property
I believe south-central Pennsylvania is one of the most beautiful and welcoming places that I have been.
What makes this property unique
This is a very private place in the woods, but also so close to many attractions in the area. Harrisburg, Pennsylvania's state capital, is only 12 minutes away. York, America's first capital, is only 15 min. away. The natural beauty of the surrounding Conewago mountains is a highlight. Kayaking on some of the nearby lakes, creeks and rivers is wonderful.
