Large Home in the heart of West Monroe!

Located just 4 minutes from the interstate in a quiet and safe neighborhood, easily access the property with a self check-in keypad before pulling into your private 2-car garage. Your family will enjoy plenty of space and fun activities. The Chef-style kitchen includes a 5-burner gas cooktop, double oven, large refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave and plenty of cookware and dishes for those big dinners. A cozy sitting area is located near the kitchen for a comfy conversation over coffee or tea. The formal dining room boasts a sophisticated dining table that comfortably seats 10.

The large den is designed for family fun with a standard size pool table, hanging scrabble board, 55" smart tv, and a record player. The back patio offers a comfortable patio set and charcoal grill. Grab a beach towel from the basket on your way out the backdoor before taking a dip in the saltwater pool. The pool area has lounge chairs for enjoying the sun after taking a splash.

After a great day with family and friends, unwind in privacy with 6 bedrooms to choose from. Each bedroom has a queen size bed so no one is getting stuck in a top bunk! Two bedrooms are located downstairs. One bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with two vanities, shower, and a jacuzzi tub. The other bathroom is near the kitchen and worth the walk to experience the ultimate shower complete with a rain shower head and body sprays. Four large bedrooms are upstairs and two bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms share a jack-and-jill style bathroom. One bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. The first bedroom to the left has a choice of sharing an upstairs bathroom or the fancy shower downstairs but don't worry because you get your own balcony overlooking the pool!

Important pool safety information: The pool depth begins at 3.5-4 ft with a deep end of 8 ft. No diving is allowed. No lifeguard is on duty. Children must be monitored by an adult at all times when in the backyard. A 6ft privacy fence surrounds the backyard including the pool, therefore all parts of the backyard are considered the pool area. The pool is maintained weekly at minimum. The diving board and slide have been removed from the pool area for safety. Updated pool pics coming soon.

For your comfort the home has 2 thermostats downstairs and 1 thermostat upstairs. The nest thermostats can be controlled by sliding your finger up and down on the right side of the circle. An 80 gallon gas water heater supplies hot water. For our guests' safety, we have removed the key to the gas fireplace from the premises. Therefore, you will not be able to turn on the fireplace in the den.

The house worked perfectly for us. The six large bedrooms with four large bathrooms accommodated our group of seven adults. We were out and about all day and back at the house in the evening relaxing while enjoying everyone’s company. We enjoyed the outdoor pool, the pool table, and the board games.

Great location and welcoming property

We were in town for a family funeral and the property was a great place to relax and grieve as a family. Lots of room. Kids enjoyed the pool but wish the weather would have been warmer for the adults to be brave enough to join them.

Great house for big family!

Overall, everything was great! Awesome pool, outside space, and family room! Some supplies like laundry detergent, dish washing liquid, and soap in bathrooms were lacking, but you can always ask host before you go or be prepared to bring/get supplies. Walmart was less than a mile away so no worries!

Perfect for what we needed!

Was in town for a 10 day livestock show with family and friends. Home was perfect for us! It is spacious with enough bathrooms for everyone! Pool was so nice to have to cool off in! Check in and check out process was so easy! Excellent communication from the property owner. Close to everything you need but located in a quiet neighborhood. If we are in need of a place to stay in West Monroe again, we’ll definitely book again!

Great space

We had lots of space to hang out! The home was conveniently located. The owner manager was quick to respond and take care of questions and concerns. The property was clean; the carpets and bathrooms were a little worn. The yard was great, though it was raining and chilly for our visit so we didn’t use the pool which was large! We had a great time, and would stay again!

Dirty and very in accurate on pictures

The first glance was an okay one but then upon realizing the home was an outdated dirty portrayal…..with tall stairs and no gate for the littles. The kitchen had a dirty sink, cabinets and such. There were not enough decent pots and pans to even cook pancakes. We had to run out at the last minute for breakfast. The walls were dirty. Beds not made up….more like making it after sleeping in it all night. I worried the sheets were dirty. The pool is falling apart on one side. There is no slide for the poo as shown in the pictures. There is not a set of stairs to help safely get out of the pool with. It was not a place I wanted my family to stay at. We left.

Public Review – West Monroe HouseOur group had a nice stay in West Monroe, and the property has a lot of potential. The pool was enjoyable, and the house is spacious, but there are several areas that could use attention to make future stays more comfortable.Some of the bedrooms felt a bit unfinished—one downstairs bedroom didn’t have a dresser or nightstands, and the primary bedroom only had a clothing rack instead of a closet. A couple of the mattresses need upgrading, and one ceiling fan wasn’t working. There were also some housekeeping details that could be improved, like cleaning the windows, floors, refrigerator, and organizing the kitchen.The den could use more seating for larger groups, and the Wi-Fi signal wasn’t strong throughout the house. Around the pool area, adding an umbrella and more chairs would make it more inviting. Safety updates such as mounted smoke detectors and a deadbolt on the back door would also give guests more peace of mind.Overall, we enjoyed our time here, but with some updates and attention to detail, this house could be an excellent vacation rental.

This house was the perfect fit our large family gathering. Thesix rooms in this house were big enough to accommodate all the family members that came from out of town. The kitchen was so big and equipped with a double oven which made it easy to cook for a large family with ease. With 4 full bathrooms, no one had to wait on one! There are also lots of gathering areas in this home, The back yard is so spacious with the pool being the icing on the cake, the children as well a s the adults loved it! The neighborhood is Lovely.
