Cuatro Vientos Vineyard Hacienda is located with in walking distance (1/8 of a mile) to the picturesque village of Los Olivos, with its renown wine tasting rooms, art galleries and restaurants.

The views will have you unwinding in no time as you enter into this spacious vineyard hacienda. This 3500 square foot, four bedroom, three bath estate sits on knoll above the vineyard. This hacienda offers the ultimate in entertaining with all the amenities necessary for a romantic get away, or a gathering for friends and family in the great room or a barbeque on the patio.

Swim in the heated infinity pool or relax in the jacuzzi while taking pleasure in the panoramic views of the Santa Ynez and coastal mountain ranges. Enjoy the many activities the valley has to offer or spend some time in the vineyard with an educational walking tour and wine tasting of available wines made from our grapes*. Feel free to loll the day away pool side and let the serenity of the valley envelop you.

* Vineyard experience must be set up with the on-site family. Vineyard tours The vines are dormant during the fall and winter. Bud break happens in the spring and harvest happens in late August/September. All contingent upon Mother Nature. Tours are led by family and timing depends upon the availability of time or work in the vineyard during your stay.

* There is an extra fee associated with the Vineyard experience, TBD.

You can also spend a full day of fun at a relaxed pace and enjoy visiting at one of the local vineyards.

Golfing
The Santa Ynez Valley has a variety of golf courses to choose from with gigantic oak trees, rolling hills, vineyards, creeks and mountain views. The River Course at Alisal, Rancho San Marcos, La Purisima and Zaca Creek are all within a 20 minute drive of the Hacienda. If you wish to drive a little further there are numerous courses located on the Central Coast.

Horseshoes and Bocce Ball available at the property.

Additional Notes: Local Rules for vacation rentals require that family live on the property. We have an adjacent apartment, with a separate wall. We are available for any questions or assistance to make your stay more enjoyable. Check in time is 4 p.m. and check out time is 10 a.m.

This was an outstanding stay. We enjoyed waking up in the morning to see the glorious mountain view and taking in the scenery on the short safe walk (15 minutes) into town-passing by fruit trees and vineyards. A restful sleep was had each night due to the quiet darkness and comfortable bedding. We especially enjoyed sitting around the small fire place in the evening drinking wine. The heated infinity pool was incredibly refreshing. It was very easy to communicate with the hosts and they were very responsive. We wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return! 10/10.

This was an amazing trip, the house was everything we hoped for and more. It was my wife’s 60th birthday weekend with all our kids and their partners. The City of Los Olivos is a special place for us. We have friends who lived in the valley for many years and were a big part of the ranch communicate imbedded within the winery’s. We had a full moon weekend, watching the moon rise over the valley was picturesque, to say the least. Each morning the fog sits in the valley, cooling the vines and to sit in the jacuzzi, with a cup of coffee watching the sun eat its way through the fog was amazing. The kitchen is fully full of all the items needed to cook great meals. To be honest, I had a little sticker shock at the price, but that quickly went away when you see what the house has to offer, each room is a luxury hotel room in its self. The host was amazing, I wanted to show respect towards the property, so I asked a few questions regarding some activities we wanted to indulge while on the property, like smoking cigars’ the host was very respectful and very timely in their response. We would recommend this property to anyone whe asked.

Absolutely beautiful

There were 4 of us for a 5 day stay and the hosts, property and house were perfect. The house is comfortable and gave us all space to lounge. The outdoors were stunning. We used the pool and jacuzzi. We all said we want to come back and stay longer. Thank you Gavin and Austin for providing any support we needed during our stay.

Great property - but cleaning crew sure don’t know what to do.

Mold in Coffee makerPlace was dirty - like dust would pile up if you leave the house for a whileTowels were dirty - we were forced to use paper towels to dry ourselves after washing ourselves.Location and amenities all are fine - but not really clean and thus it lowered our rating. Sorry, feedback should be accurate for there to be improvements.

perfect Los Olivos

This was the perfect location to enjoy Los Olivos (8 minute walk) and surrounding area wineries. The kitchen / common areas were perfect. The decor is classic and the bedding was very comfortable. We spent one night enjoying Los Olivos and the second night at the property,, BBQ and enjoying the backyard.

Fun time in Los Olivos

The house was spacious. With 6 ppl we never felt cramped. The pool was it's biggest attraction, but cooking and hanging out inside was nice too. I can see us returning again someday!

This is a large quiet home with a beautiful pastoral view. The home was spotlessly clean with four large bedrooms and three bathrooms (master - en suite). The beds were extremely comfortable, plush hotel quality. We would love to come again if Noel will have us. Our group was all family and we found the arrangements conducive to the pleasure of just being together. Grapevines, barbecue, spa and pool. Delightful!

mini family reunion

This property is way more than depicted in pictures. The views are classic Santa Ynez Valley, the property itself is peacefully tucked away unto itself, yet accessible to the funky towns that this area is so well known for, as well as decent wine tasting in lovely settings. While we wanted for nothing as the house is so well equipped, it is Beth and Gavin's availability and caring ways that distinguishes this property as a very special place.

Perfect Wine Country Getaway

We had a fantastic and enjoyable stay at our Vrbo host’s facility. Easy access to downtown Los Olivos with easy access to Santa Yenez and Solvang. The facility was perfect for our needs. Great backyard with a picture perfect pool and spa. A well equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need to cook meals and entertain. Everything was perfectly clean and the beds were comfy with lots of fluffy blankets and pillows. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable two days at this very private and beautiful home. Host communication before and during stay was prompt, helpful and professional. Easy access and departure.

Gem of a property, walking distance to town, Instagram worthy pool ✨

This was the perfect location for a bachelorette winery weekend! We absolutely loved our stay at Cuatro Vientos. The beds were very comfortable, the house was spacious, clean and equipped with everything you need. The real highlight is the outdoor area with the rolling hills, infinity pool and vineyards, it felt like a dream. The pictures do not do this home justice. The location is ideal, an easy five minute walk to town, we were able to walk to get our coffee every morning. The owners were easy to communicate with and it felt extremely private even with an on-site manager. Thank you Beth and Gavin! Would highly recommend!!

False advertising

A very dated, funky house with a murky pool that has spotted, peeling plaster. We didn't go in because it was so uninviting. It's clear the owners don't want to spend a penny on the joint. We should get a partial refund because a pool was one of our main attractions. Very lousy setting with several houses starring at you at the pool area. Ancient bbq, old stone patios hard to walk on, with added bonus of having a caretaker living on the property, sharing a wall with the house! No privacy! By far the worst place we have rented there out of 20 or so.

Fabulous location and pool, but somewhat disappointing

This review may seem like an aberration compared to so many positive ones, but according to the host, it seems that our experience was different because we stayed 10 days, used more appliances, and had a few unusual occurrences compared to most guests who stay just over the weekend. The positives: The pool and deck plus cabana are truly spectacular! Pool is gorgeous-- long enough for lap swimming-- heated to our liking, and was the high point for daily morning lap swims. Patio furniture seems new/plush and comfy, and the new cabana is impressive although we didn’t dine under it due to afternoon cool downs and wind. Although the host, Gavin, lives next door in an attached area, you don’t hear him or his dogs at all and you still have total privacy. Gavin was exceptional in his immediate responsiveness to my emails or texts when I reported problems, and was able to immediately assess/solve each situation. He also works at Zaca Mesa winery and took good care of us during our wine tasting/picnic at the winery. The negatives: There were several problems with aging or malfunctioning appliances, and a fountain pump that ran once all night, causing a restless sleep. It was too dark in the living room or den to read due to inadequate lighting but a lamp was provided. There was evidence of at least 2 mice in the kitchen cupboards. As already mentioned, Gavin was responsive, apologetic, respectful, and helpful, and he compensated us fairly for the problems we encountered.

What a great house for a friend’s getaway! The house was great and a perfect location just minutes away from all the shops and wineries. The house had everything you could want or need in a kitchen, and the outdoor space was the best! The bedrooms were well sized and beds were very comfortable. We would highly recommend staying here!
