Lil House - Charming Cottage By the Sea ~ Pet Friendly

Note: June, July, August, and September rentals are by the full week only, Saturday to Saturday. June and September available for monthly rental with 5% discount. Property access info will be emailed 3 days before your arrival.
Our charming cottage by the sea, located in a cottage community known as 'Camp Ellis', is our home away from home and we are sure you will feel the same. Enjoy your morning coffee from our second floor deck with an ocean view. The cottage is fully equipped with a full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, Smart TV and DVD. It is heated for a cool June or September. Sheets and towels are not included. We are just steps to a quiet beach for relaxation and fun. There is a working fishing pier, deep sea fishing charters, kayak rentals, para sailing and jet ski rentals. Fresh lobsters are readily available. There is a wonderful local restaurant, Huot's, within walking distance and plenty more choices in town. There is a Camp Ellis General Store with many grocery items as well as wine, beer and wonderful snacks and local items. The cottage is just a few miles off the highway, yet you will feel like you're a world away. Take advantage of local antiquing and outlet shopping in Kittery and Freeport. You can take a free local trolley into Old Orchard Beach for fun on the Amusement Park Pier or a short drive into Portland for more city enjoyments.

Camp Ellis Getaway

This was a last minute booking in our part so we were very pleased to be able to find this place. We have been coming to Ocean Park for 40 years so this was a little out of the area for us. It was a joy to be by the pier as we saw many of the lobster boats come in and unload! The beach area is quite small but it is very close by and access to other beaches is within minutes. The Lil House was very comfortable, clean and a nice place to relax at the end of a beach day! Anything needed for meals was there (cutlery, dishes, etc…) and instructions were very clear with regards to little nuances of the property. We would return there again with no hesitation!

Janice's Lil House was exactly what we needed. It's cozy and charming and located in a cute fishing village south of the busier Old Orchard area. Highly recommend!

Another wonderful stay

Janice is always so responsive and the little house is just perfect for us, feels like our home away from home. Just steps away from the beach and a short drive away from anything you can imagine wanting to do.
