Amazing stay with lots to offer for the entire family or a group of friends. Spacious dining room, sufficient kitchen, comfy rooms with tv, overall cozy and timeless ambience. Feels like from a Holiday movie! We wish we stayed more nights! Definitely recommended if you want to be near Big Bear Mountain for ski and snowboarding fun!
Overall we really enjoyed the cabin. The deck and the yard are such a nice feature for summer renting! The beds were comfy and the bedrooms were spacious. The place feels very cozy and welcoming. The kitchen is huge but come use some more pots, pans, utensils, storage containers, etc. What I would suggest is to fix the stairs. I am a Realtor so I now what home inspectors look for and those stairs to the 2nd floor don't have a bullnose and the runners are loose and just placed on each step which is a major slip & fall hazard! We were very carful and found ourselves walking side ways down the steps to avoid a potential fall.I would have given it 5 stairs if it weren't for the stairs.
The property itself is very beautiful and has a lot of potential. Needs a few repairs and deep cleaning.

Unfortunately, this was not a good experience. The house was not cleaned from the previous stay and even the trash was not taken out. when contacted the host, we were told someone will show up to collect the previous guest's trash but no one ever did. they do not have a trash bin and you need to drive to the waste center to drop off the trash. The hot water knob in the shower was broken and we had a hard time turning on the water. All 5 or 6 knobs on the stove/range were broken and turning it on/off was a challenge. The grill wasn't cleaned and the light outside was broken so we had to grill with a flash light.overall the house is not well kept and we don't recommend this house.
