The Eberhard Family Ranch and Vineyard is nestled in the Santa Ynez Valley, surrounded by acres of award-winning grapes, weeping willows, and stunning views. Perfectly located 10 minutes south of Los Olivos and 10 minutes north of Solvang, making it the ideal location for wine tasting, family fun, and dining. The Ranch is home to Tantara winery, featured in National Geographic “The 10 Best of Everything: An Ultimate Guide for Travelers.”
Spend your days wine tasting world famous wines, shopping for souvenirs in Solvang, feeding the ostriches at Ostrich Land USA, or following the Sideways itinerary which must include a visit to the Hitching Post II for dinner.
At the ranch you can splash at the pool, visit the koi pond, walk the vineyards, or take a quick ride on the Peloton followed by a steam in the sauna. Enjoy a picnic in the vineyards or under the grand weeping willow and, at night, gaze through at the dark, star-studded night.
The ranch, originally built by the Spaulding family, features numerous unique features such as imported Canadian wood, tile from a Hungarian train station, and trees planted by the loving couples who married at the ranch.
Get away from the grit and noise of the city and take a deep breath at the ranch.

We absolutely loved our stay at Wendy's ranch house in Santa Ynez. The property is even more beautiful in person, and the backyard is a dream. The beds were super comfortable and the house was so perfect for our group trip. Wendy was great to communicate with throughout the process.

Unbelievable place

We threw a surprise birthday party for my wife here and had three other families join us with kids aged between 4 months and 8 years. The house and the grounds are just phenomenal. There is a pool and plenty of space for the kids and adults alike. The surprise couldn’t have gone better and the hosts were helpful every step of the way!

Small memorial

Family and friends gathered from all over at Eberhard Ranch to honor our mother in her hometown. The house and yard were perfect for hosting a luncheon. The patio was large, allowing people to filter in and out while most folks enjoyed the spring sunshine in the yard. The views around the house of the farms and mountains were beautiful, the very best of Santa Ynez Valley. The owners were gracious in allowing us to host our event here, and Wendy went out of her way to accommodate our planning. It was a weekend we’ll always remember in our family.

60th Birthday Celebration

We spent a week on the Eberhard Ranch with my husband, best friend, and our kids, their partners, and a brother-in-law (ranging in age from 23 to 63). Everyone thought it was perfect. The sleeping situation works exceptionally well, the backyard and pool are beautiful and perfect for games and fun, the back patio has shade all day long, and the surrounding countryside is spectacular. It is hard to beat for a family get away. Also, Wendy, the property manager was terrific. Thank you!

Perfect Family Stay

This is our second time staying at the property which of course tells you something. We had such a great thanksgiving week with our family of young and old. What I like about the property is there are a bunch of toys and bikes for them to play with and even though the house is great it feels like it has been lived in so you are not having to worry too much about kids wrecking the place! Thank you again. We will be back.

Beautiful grounds and accommodating home

We were a party of 7 adults, 2 toddlers and 3 kids and the home wonderfully accommodated all of us. Amazing backyard for kids to run around or throw a football/play frisbee in, huge pool and hot tub, and lots of toys and adventures visiting the horses, vineyards or exploring the property and area. Big outdoor dining table to accommodate, ooni pizza oven and well stocked kitchen supplies. And appreciated the toddler supplies (changing table, high chair, packandplay). Hope to be back soon.

Great property!

Great stay! Layout of ranch style house makes it easy for multiple families and kids with essentially 2 master bedrooms. Grounds, pool, and bunk beds provide endless entertainment for kids. My husband and I both loved using the Pelaton. Sheets and beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked with necessary gear, and very easy drive to many wineries, coffee shops, and restaurants.

Beautiful vineyard ranch in Santa Ynez

We had such a great stay at this home! The property has a beautiful home, clean and cute, pool and vineyard views for days. The hosts were super kind, efficient and made our stay welcomed and easy. Gorgeous ranch and vineyard! Fun and relaxing for both parents and kids!

My family stayed at the ranch with one other family and we loved it. We were 4 adults and 3 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone. We appreciated the extra space for baby naps, one of the master bedrooms has a small connected living room where the older kids were able to hang out without disturbing the rest of the house, and the additional master bedroom was great for both sets of parents. The location was awesome, about 5 minutes to Santa Ynez and 10 minutes to Los Olivos and Solvang. Perfect for wine tasting and exploring. The kitchen was nicely stocked and it was easy for us to cook meals; the house isn't brand new but nicely decorated and comfortable, very ranchy. They even provided a high chair and pack n’ play so we didn't have to schlep our own. The backyard and surrounding property is massive, the kids just ran around while the parents sat back, drank wine, and watched. We took walks around the vineyards and enjoyed the neighboring horses. Evenings were so quiet and the stargazing was just beautiful. The Tantara winery is on the property, we didn't call ahead to schedule a tasting but we’ve had their wines before and they are delicious. We’ll definitely try to do that next time. Overall, we loved it and will certainly be back.

Fantastic location on a lovely vineyard property

First, the location of this estate property is perfect for exploring the Central Valley wine country. It’s a couple minutes to downtown Santa Ynez, and a short drive, about 10 minutes, to both Los Olivos and Solvang which we found very convenient. Yet, the estate is very quiet and secluded. The property is quite unique with an immense green space, vineyards to explore and pathways to journey down. The house is as depicted in the photos - a little older but very comfortable and fitting of the ranch setting. I appreciated the amenities of the kitchen which were ample for cooking our meals. The linens are very new and beds are comfortable. The property is a working vineyard and we met a couple of friendly workers on site, but not near the house. All in all, it’s a spectacular estate in a great location for what we were interested in doing.
