PRIMITIVE CABIN/CAMPING! SLEEPS 4-6

Enjoy nature from the quaint front porch overlooking a stocked fishing pond or adventure out to a number of surrounding activities in the area — hiking trails, kayak rentals, wineries, antique shops, other quaint village shopping and more. All within a 10-15 mile drive!

**THE SPACE**
This spacious (12’x40’), single-room and primitive cabin is for those who seek simplicity and an escape from the daily grind. Tucked away on the back side of 7 acres in a small town in Northeast Ohio, this cabin offers the perfect opportunity to connect with nature with plenty of room for family fun in a private setting, and an excellent opportunity to explore the local area.

The cabin comfortably sleeps 4-6, and is great for families! Need more space? Bring a tent and set it up on the property for some extra fun!

This cabin is primitive, meaning no kitchen or bath, and no running water inside. However, there is a port-a-potty just outside.

PARKS & HIKING

- Less than 5 miles away is Walborn Reservoir. With nearly 1,800 acres, this picturesque park is the perfect escape for hikers, fishing enthusiasts, canoeists and kayakers! The marina offers affordable canoe, kayak, paddle board and motor boat rentals and concessions beginning in May each year.

- 10 miles away is Quail Hollow State Park. This 700 acre park offers a variety of hiking and mountain biking trails with rolling meadows, marshes, pine and deciduous woods surrounding a 40-room manor.

WINERIES

- A short 5.5 mile drive is 1875 Winery & Restaurant. This adults-only winery and restaurant is located in a beautifully restored barn that was built in 1875. The barn offers 3 floors of dining, a stunning outdoor patio with an impressive 4-sided fireplace, a tranquil waterfall and more. Dine on a delicious seasonal menu or choose one of their amazing-wood fired pizzas, and pair it with a signature cocktail or wine slushie.

- Just a 10 mile drive is Maize Valley & Craft Brewery. This family-friendly location offers a variety of experiences. Take in a variety of wines, craft beers and food selections, shop the small market of homegrown and handcrafted products, or check out some of their live music, special events and fall activities.

- Visit the Hartville Antique & Thrift Trail! There are over a dozen shops within a 3 mile radius around the Hartville Marketplace & Flea Market — which is a short 15 mile drive from the cabin.

We appreciated the host meeting us upon arrival, orienting us to the room, and providing us with his own fresh eggs. We were able to hear spring peepers sing as the eclipse reduced lighting. We enjoyed interacting with him, his family, and pets.
