Cabin in disarray, lacking utensils and AC
Very dissatisfied with the condition of the cabin. Very dirty and filled with bugs. The shower doesn’t even work properly. This cabin definitely does not sleep 4 adults unless you lay 2 of the people on the floor

2/10 Terrible

TERRIBLE...I would give negative stars if that were an option...
After our long drive from San Diego the very last thing we wanted to do was shovel out 2 feet of snow from the driveway at 9 pm in the dark, and cold without the shovel that was supposed to be there. We called and they said someone was on their way. After waiting for 30 minutes we got lucky and a neighbor came over with a shovel (probably because they wondered why a car was just sitting in the road). We ended up having to pay to have our driveway shoveled. The property management company, Big Bear Vacations, is so incompetent I am surprised they are still in business. No one ever came to shovel the entire weekend. Once we got inside things were dirty, not just like a little dust. I am talking massive cobwebs everywhere, trash on the floor, hair and dirt on the sheets. I kind of felt like I was in a horror movie cabin. There was just enough toilet paper for everyone to go to the bathroom one time, oh and no back up anywhere. We called again to ask about this and the person on the phone was so rude. I really believe that they do not clean their properties in between guest. The final straw which is not really their fault but maybe if the property was cleaned wouldn't even have been an issue was the spiders. There were so many giant spiders... I HATE SPIDERS. I would never stay here or use this property management company. If you are looking for a nice relaxing stay in a cozy mountain cabin, do not stay here or use Big Bear Vacations property management company. If you do, bring a shovel, toilet paper, a duster, clean sheets, and bug spray.
