Had a great time staying on Portage Lake. The camp was super clean and convenient for access to North Maine Woods. Joy was very pleasant and responsive.
My two son's and their families stayed with us for two of our nights. Though our party was larger than normal, Joy was very accommodating! The neighbors were very nice to my grandkids as well. It was by far the cleanest place I've rented. I would definitely recommend this property!
The cabin was clean, spacious, furnished for what was needkitchen was great, beds were comfortable, lake was stunning and the location was what was needed. The host was fantastic. Family had a great stay. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
Nice cabin. Great kitchen and with the enclosed porch and living room you had two separate sitting areas. Two queen bedrooms and the loft with one twin and one queen mattress for sleeping couches looked as though they would fold out, though we never used them because there was only five of us three adults, two kids plenty of hot water in the shower. We were there to hunt on Moose hunt and the location was great for us yet I would return again because it was right on the water and very close to a restaurant gas station, and store.
The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We so enjoyed spending our days outside in and by the water, and our nights by the fire making s'mores. Our kids had such a blast and our 7 year old learned how to kayak. SO awesome to have those included for guests to use. Also, the shed had all the different size life jackets that we needed. The neighbors were all so kind and we are absolutely looking forward to visiting again!
We had a great week at the Lake House beautiful property has everything you need and wonderful views with some spectacular sunsets! The kayaks were great we used almost everyday!
Great place to stay for a week away. Though we were in the woods most of our trip hunting this was a cozy spot for the mornings and evenings with a great beach and view of the lake.
Loved the view and the house. If I could have picked it up and brought it home with me I would have. Sitting down by the lake in the morning sun then again in the evenings sunset is priceless.
