Spacious comfort in the heart of Lucedale.
We updated the house next door and would like to offer a quiet, convenient place for you to stay while in Lucedale. Undeniably a more comfortable and affordable accommodation than any hotel or motel. Sleeps eight (8) adults in 4 well-appointed bedrooms.
Tucked away in the heart of downtown, on a quiet family-friendly street, it's the perfect place to enjoy time together. Whether you're needing a place to stay for a wedding, reunion, a nearby event, or maybe if you just want to take in the local Lucedale scene, this newly updated house has room to spread out and have privacy.
You are welcomed first as you enter from the garage into a sunroom then into the kitchen and breakfast area that seats 4. Just off the kitchen is a large, full-sized laundry room. The first of two large and comfortable living areas is connected to the breakfast nook. The second living area is a separate room in the front of the house. It too has ample comfortable seating including a pull-out sofa with a comfortable deluxe queen size air-mattress. Both the front and rear living areas have smart TV's and are perfect for relaxing and enjoying family and friends. The front dining room seats six around a large pub-style table where you can eat, play board games or put together a jig-saw puzzle as you spend time conversing and eating with family/friends.
There are four bedrooms. The primary ensuite is spacious with a walk-in closet and double vanity dressing area. There is a separate tub/shower toilet area in the primary. Two bedrooms offer queen size beds and are connected with a Jack and Jill style bathroom also with tub/shower unit. The fourth bedroom has two extra-long twins. connected to the third bathroom. This third bathroom also serves as the guest bathroom off the living area and is handicap accessible with a low-entry shower, wider door frame and comfort-height toilet. These three full bathrooms ensure that no one is waiting too long for their turn to get dressed for the main event for which you've come into town.

Downtown Lucedale is vibrant and full of restaurants and locally owned shops that are worth exploring as is the extensive city park area.

Great Location for a Family Event
With limited hotels, we found this VRBO a great experience. Such a lovely decorated home, and all my family was accommodated for a wedding we were in town for with 15 mins to the Venue. So many rooms and space, wifi, and just all around good experience.

Great family gathering
Our family was in Lucedale for my father’s funeral. This home is lovely, clean, and owners are very hospitable. It’s large enough for large group to visit with 2 sitting areas and a lovely outside for kids to run and play. We enjoyed our stay and it felt like home.

The house is absolutely stunning and super spacious! The owners were wonderful and made sure we knew they were there to help, if needed. We came down from OH to visit friends, and being in a home like this one was just so much more comforting. I can’t wait to come back one day with my growing family!

Totally Worth It!
We were in town for our son's wedding abd were blessed to stay at this well appointed, clean, lovely property. It's a very nice home tucked away downtown in what is a "hidden gem" of a quiet neighborhood. Will definitely stay again if we need to for any other family events in Lucedale.

Why they chose this property
The House Next Door is an answer to our prayers! We were looking for a house "just in case" family members needed to be close by and when we found this well-built, in a great neighborhood, close to us, we knew it would be a winner,
What makes this property unique
Not many houses this size are available so close to the town center, yet it is in a quiet, established, residential neighborhood. This one-level ranch house is so spacious, having 4 large bedrooms and two living areas. The large square footage allows for guests to spread out and feel relaxed and comfortable. It has the sunroom just off the garage that makes coming and going so convenient, especially while loading, unloading, and in inclement weather. I especially love the high windows in the bedrooms that provide complete privacy while allowing in lots of light.
