Our stay was absolutely unforgettable. The property itself is stunning, but the real highlight is the view—truly breathtaking from every angle. Each morning felt surreal, like waking up inside a postcard, with peaceful, quiet surroundings that made it easy to fully relax and disconnect. If you’re looking for a place that combines natural beauty with tranquility, this is it. The atmosphere is calm, private, and almost dreamlike—perfect for anyone wanting a serene escape. We left feeling refreshed and already wishing we could come back.

The Glow House will forever have a special place in our hearts. This was a trip I had planned for myself and my 15 year old son for his 16th bday. He has alwasy been a stargaze and wanted to be in the best place in the USA to see the milkeyway. We had a storm roll in for a few days and washed the road out. The host was amazing with communication and assured me it was going to be ok and to just give the road time to dry out . We extended our stay 2 nights and eventually it was good enought to drive out. This is a absolutely BEAUTIFUL home with a view you cant get any place else! Highly recomend this property only sugestion is to plan accordingly incase of bad weather. We will absolutely be going back again!

Glowhouse getaway

Had a great time in this quaint getaway house. Everything is provided there for you. You just gotta bring your own eats and drinks. Host was very helpful with directions and responses to questions. Will definitely keep this place on my list to revisit.

Great place near Big Bend

This house has all the amenities of home while being off the grid. Everything was great. The WiFi, water, electricity all were great. House was easy to find just make sure you put the address or coordinates in before you lose cell signal. Area is secluded and very quiet. It was the quietest place we had ever been. You literally could not hear anything outside. It was really cool. House isn’t far from Terlingua and big bend. Only 20-30 mins maybe. I would come back and stay there again.

The house was beautiful and the location close to the state and national parks but unfortunately the solar power and generator did not function properly and thus we had 3 nights without any electricity, water or WiFi service. The host and house manager were responsive but nothing they could do. It was not pleasant at all.

We are so sorry that you experienced a stay with us with partial electric electricity. As of last week, we added more batteries to our solar to ensure that our future guests do not have to go through this again. During your stay, we experienced several cloudy days and in the 2 years of hosting have never had this happen. We are truly sorry and offered partial refund. Thanks for the feedback!

This was such a cute and unique rental! It was perfect for my husband and I to enjoy the area. I will say I would not have booked it if the location was accurate. I know it's because of no service and difficult. When I was booking and the maps gives you a general area... this was almost 30 minutes north. Its worth bringing up because a lot of other rentals in the area do have the correct general location. I purposefully did not select one of those and ended up in the same area.

A great get away with perfect views.

This property is a beautiful and peaceful getaway, perfect for escaping the city and enjoying the star-filled night sky. The container home itself was clean and well-maintained, with a great rooftop deck for taking in the surroundings. While we appreciated the peaceful setting, there was an issue with the septic system that caused a persistent odor throughout our stay. The host was quick to respond when we reported the problem, but the problem could not be fixed during our visit. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing issue, we ultimately decided to cut our trip short. Would come again in the future.

Pas de débarbouillette et de linge à vaisselle. Pas de literie pour le lit d’appoint. L’emplacement est parfait. Très jolie et calme.
