It isn't really clear until you find out that the road to get there is very difficult. It's hard any day, I had to rent a Jeep 4x4 just to get there. It was difficult but able to arrive on first day. Unfortunately, it started raining on day 2. That turned into a complete nightmare. We had to work on getting the car out of giant puddles for about 3 hours on 6 different occasions. The bathroom is about a quarter mile away, which is pretty far at 2-3 in the morning... but when it is raining, it is no longer capable, as there are giant puddles. You get back in you now have mud up the knees. Good luck!I tried to get my last 3 days back, but they refused. It's rain, so no money back.

The remote location was wonderful! I definitely recommend 4 wheel drive for the dirt roads that get you to the location. It's about a 25 minute drive to the main drag at Terlingua and about 45 minutes to get to the entrance of the park. The amenities worked out really well and our host was very quick to help if we needed anything! I would definitely stay here again

This place is great. It has everything you can think you would need (or forget).Just very short drive in to town and big Ben. Amazing view of the starts just right outside your dome. I would definitely recommend this place and will be staying again in the future.

Great stay and an awesome place

The location is a little drive but not far from the Big Bend park. The place had everything we needed. We ended up grilling every evening. The sunsets and sunrises were perfect at our location. (Blue Door). We both agreed that we would stay here again.

I paid good money for a two-night stay, and this was one of the most disappointing VRBO experiences I’ve had.When we arrived, the dome had clearly not been cleaned. The bed wasn’t made, the sheets were stained, there was food and trash on the floor, used towels were left behind, and the bathroom was dirty. We left while they cleaned it. Although it was better when we returned, the bathroom was still dirty and covered in bugs.The listing was also misleading. It says Terlingua is a one-minute walk away, but it’s actually about a 25-minute drive. It also advertises a pool at the property, but there isn’t one. The closest pool is a community pool about 20 minutes away.Another disappointment was the dome itself. One of the reasons we booked it was to stargaze from bed, but you can’t. The dome material isn’t clear, so at night you only see light, not the stars.After all of this, I was refunded only 75. I was also told someone would bring us a gift as an apology, but that never happened.For the price I paid, the cleanliness, inaccurate listing, poor communication, and lack of a resolution made this stay not worth it. I hope this review helps others know what to expect before booking. If you’re looking for a clean and easy stay I would not recommend unfortunately.

Un lugar espectacular! Alejado del ruido y vida agitada de la ciudad. Un lugar ideal para relajase y recobrar energía. Desde ahí se puede visitar el Parque Nacional Big Bend y admirar espectaculares paisajes!
