Three generations of ranch families have homesteaded on this 40 acre property. Immerse yourself in this wonderful ranch home bordering Black Hills National Forrest. As you pull into the driveway you are very likely to be greeted by cows grazing on the land surrounding this home. Don't sweat it, they will move. Just don't try to pet them unless you know what you're doing. The backyard faces west is surrounded by BLM accessible land to create your own adventure.

The property is surrounded by BLM Land which you can access from the property. Please make sure to adhere to the off-road vehicle regulations for the BLM land.

Sturgis Road fronts the property with a short gravel road to the concrete driveway. Double Oversized Garage available to renters.

The house has two levels and an enormous amount of space with two dining room tables on the main level for enough seating for 20. Both living rooms have a fireplace and Large TVs.
The basement bodes a full sized snooker/pool table behind the couches

All 40 ares of the property are accessible via horseback, hiking, adventure seekers. House has enough space for large events, and weddings and family reunions are welcomed and encouraged. The Morton Building has a Full Sized RV Parking spot with 50 AMP service and water available. There is also a water trough that is accessible located inside the fence line on the eastern side close to the adjacent house.

The house was wonderful. It accommodated our group of 11 adults perfectly. And we had an additional 8 people stop by for a family reunion and there was plenty of room for everyone. This was the best stocked rental we have ever stayed in! The property was great for exploring into the national forest. Great location for heading off for sightseeing.

The house and property are beautiful and spacious. We had 16 adults and children altogether visiting, and still had plenty of space throughout house. We loved the homes decor, the old pictures, furniture, books, and stories about them. The decks were nicely furnished and the views from the front is spectacular. Very well furnished home from kitchen to bedrooms to bathrooms. For families with small children, there is only the master bedroom on main floor. We went for walks and saw deer in yard everyday. And you do not hear the freeway inside the home unless windows are open. And only a short drive to Sturgis or Rapid City. And close to all the Black Hills adventures. We would definitely stay here again.

Great getaway

Our family needed a place to stay during the state boys basketball and youth wrestling tournaments which were being held the same weekend in Rapid. This property worked perfectly! We had 6 adults and five kids from 18 months to 16 years. It was very easy access just off of the interstate about a 17 minute drive to the Moument center for the activities. We watched beautiful sunrises each morning and saw deer frequently. The property was just as described! While not a new home it is very comfortable and well maintained. We did not find any issues and would stay here again.
