ATV, UTV, and snowmobile trails nearby. Waubee Lake is also a recreational lake where you can relax in the boat fishing, or buzz around water skiing. Take in the many activities near Lakewood, Townsend and surrounding areas. Great location for fishing, trail riding, town festivals and flea markets. If you are looking for the peace and quiet of the Northwoods, this is your place. Enjoy a beautiful sitting area and firepit, along with swings for the kiddos.

Deer hunting stay

The cabin was a perfect place for me and my brothers to spend the weekend deer hunting out of. Plenty of comfy beds, a perfect kitchen for dinner and cards, couldn't have asked for anything better.

This place is great. It is convenient for UTV riding. It is very clean and comfortable. The host is quick to respond and friendly. We will be back. We had 3 couples staying and there was plenty of room in the kitchen and living room. We were able to park the UTV’s in the garage so we didn’t have frost or dew on them for our ride in the morning.

Big and Cozy!

We had a wonderful two-night stay at this property! The house was perfect for our family of five—spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The beds and sheets were especially cozy, and we had everything we needed in the kitchen.The kids loved the swing set in the yard, and we all enjoyed the great selection of DVDs for some relaxing downtime. The couch is very large and comfortable. The location was ideal—very private and peaceful, yet just a very short distance to Waubee Lodge.This was such a comfortable and convenient place to stay, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

Family reunion

It was exactly what we needed. We needed a place close to Waubee Lodge where we were having a birthday party and near our family reunion in Wabeno. We had everything we needed. It was cozy and had plenty of space.

Atv weekend!

The property was very nice. The yard was very big and open which made it easy for us to get our trailer turned around. The house was bigger than it looks like from the outside. It was very clean and very well organized. We had everything we needed already there. We will definitely be back!

Perfection

This was a perfect weekend away to relax & unplug! We enjoyed a campfire in the pit both nights we were there and the proximity to the UTV trails made it an easy in & out. We had everything you could think of for preparing meals. We definitely recommend & would stay agin. Clean. Spacious. Warm.

Great Northwoods Location

Quiet and comfortable but expect to be disconnected from the outside world completely. No Tv no Wi-Fi no cell phone service there is a dvd player but no where in town to rent any movies. Also unless I missed them there are no outdoor chairs so plan to bring some . Maybe I missed them in the garage ?

Welcome! Our names are Jim and Lisa Nowak. Our family of six is from Pound, WI. We love living in the Northwoods and all that it has to offer. We are avid outdoorists. We enjoy camping, swimming, hunting, fishing, and just simply being out in nature, especially in the fall.

Why they chose this property

We love the Waubee Lake area. The reason we chose this cozy little place is because of the beautiful land it sits on. We love this home because it is a spacious area for families, where children are welcome!! It offers many recreational activities. There are so many summer activities to engage in all throughout the surrounding areas. During the fall, it displays such beauty, and just the crisp smell of the fall air. It is located right around the corner from Waubee Lake. Waubee Lodge is one of our favorite places to dine. It is a stunning lodge, with beautiful views.

What makes this property unique

Our property offers privacy. It is within a tenth of a mile from the boat landing on Waubee Lake and is seven miles from town. You will enjoy privacy being tucked in the woods, and won't have to worry about being on top of your neighbor.
