Overlooking Beautiful Torch Lake
A delightful place to enjoy beautiful Torch Lake’s pristine waters. Enjoy the beauty of nearby Elk Rapids, Traverse City, Petoskey and Charlevoix. Enjoy memories that you’ll have for many years to come.
Three-bedroom cottage. 1 Queen, two-twin (bedroom 2), 1-twin (bedroom 3) and pull-out couch with double bed. Very clean. This cottage is directly across the street from the sandbar with the public access a couple of cottages away. Wi-fi. Outdoor patio with grill. Room to keep a boat and a trailer. Close to launch site at Torch River. Walking distance to marina, party store, hardware store and restaurant. Close to grocery store and numerous restaurants. Several golf courses fairly close. 30 minutes from Traverse City and 20 minutes from casino. Coin operated laundry approximately 8 minutes from property. Non-smoking. Pet-free. Close to Torch River. Renters to bring own sheets and towels, wash cloths, kitchen towels, bar soap, shampoo & conditioner. Will supply 1 roll of TP and paper towel and 2 larger (bright green) garbage bags (purchase more at grocery).

This cottage was right next-door to another cottage we rented so the family was very close. It was very clean. Communication with the owner was top-notch would definitely come back. The location is right across from the sandbar where a lot of people anchor their boats and just hang out on the water and it’s walking distance from this cottage. It was very convenient for family members that wanted to go in a little earlier than others to be able to walk right from sandbar across the street to to the cottage.

I sometimes live in this updated100 year old cottage and next door so I'm here to help you. The rental cottage is not just a rental. It will, one day, become my 5th Torch Lake generation's personal cottage. Therefore, it is lovingly cared for and kept up. I expect my renters to respect my dreams in keeping it nice for my grandchildren. I love sharing this area of northern Michigan with others.
Why they chose this property
It's close to everything, the back yard is peaceful and the cottage is clean🤗. It brings back the wonderful world of cottage living and is not like a modern hotel room.
What makes this property unique
Outdoor hot water shower (soon to come) as well as indoor shower. Deer in the yard, at quiet times. Also, you can’t be any closer to the sand bar for the price.
