The House at Woodside Mill

Katydid Hospitality, LLC presents one of our monthly rentals, The House at Woodside Mill. Come experience some real southern hospitality! This 1950’s mill house is situated in a quiet neighborhood close to all Greenville has to offer.

Upon arriving at Katydid Hospitality, LLC's The House at Woodside Mill, you are greeted by a 1950's southern, traditional, covered front porch with cozy outdoor patio furniture. A perfect spot to pass time reading or sit with a cocktail and watch the world go by.

The front yard is fenced, perfect for your furry friend. The driveway has a covered parking area and enough room to park two cars in the driveway. There is also free parking allowed on the street.

Once entering the home, you are welcomed into the living room by a oversized chandelier, comfortable leather sectional and large flat screen TV.

To the right of the living room is a bright kitchen full of all essentials needed for your stay - stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, drip coffee maker, and more. The kitchen also features a table with four chairs perfect for a game of cards or a quick bite.

Off of the kitchen, you will find a laundry room with front load washer and dryer. We provide a started pack of laundry detergent for our guests.

Also off of the kitchen, the home has an office with a large legal sized desk. Perfect for working during your time at the home.

The full bathroom with tub/shower, and vanity is accessed from the office.

From the office, there are stairs leading upstairs.

Once upstairs, you will find a loft area with two full sized beds and a small dresser. There is also a closet in this area. In addition, there is a bedroom with a king bed and larger dresser.

With access from the living room or office, the master bedroom has a king size bed, desk/vanity, dresser, full length mirror, and a large flat screen tv. A cozy reading nook with chair and lamp is waiting on you to enjoy.

Once at the back of the home, you will find a large deck with a propane gas grill and large table (seats six) to enjoy an evening meal. The backyard is fenced.

Guests have access to the entire property, excluding the storage building at the end of the driveway.

The Village in West Greenville, which is Greenville's arts district, is an eclectic neighborhood. Originally a southern mill community, this area is still home to many working class Greenvillians. The Woodside Mill, an upscale historic condominium refit project, is one block away. As an up and coming neighborhood, there are some houses being renovated and some are not.

The best way to travel to the home is Main Street to 18th St passing in front of The Woodside Mill.

Biking is very popular in Greenville, and The House at Woodside Mill is not far from Greenville's Swamp Rabbit Trail. Uber and Lyft also provide transportation in the area.
