Jon's Pond on Cosby Creek

Jon's Pond is a beautiful two bedroom, two bath log cabin situated directly on Cosby Creek. The cabin features a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, range, microwave oven, dishwasher, and coffee pot. Basic cookware, dishes, and silverware are also provided. The upstairs bedroom has a queen size bed and its own bathroom. The downstairs bedroom has its own access to the main bath that features a two person jetted tub. All bed and bath linens are provided, and the cabin also has a washer and dryer for your convenience.
The living area has a sleeper sofa and dining area. The cabin has satellite tv service and fiberoptic internet/WIFI service. This is a great place for those that are working or doing school remotely.
As mentioned earlier, Jon's Pond is directly on the best trout stream around, Cosby Creek. This creek comes out of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park about one mile upstream from Jon's Pond. After a full day of fishing, hiking, or exploring, Jon's Pond has its own private hot tub for your relaxation!
Other area activities include: Whitewater Rafting, Zip Lining, Shopping, Dollywood, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Cherokee Reservation and Casino, Ripley's Aquarium, Wonder Works, Dinner Shows, etc, etc.......
If you are part of a large group, the following cabins are within walking distance of Jon's Pond: Home Sweet Home, A Bit of Heaven, and Creek Heaven.

Relaxing cabin

The cabin was exactly as described. And we took full advantage of the hot tub while relaxing to the sound of the creek flowing behind the cabin. The only thing that could make it better would be a privacy screen on the porch where the hot tub is located. Three cabins on the other side of the creek looking right at us while in the hot tub not very private.

Very nice and cozy get away for my husband and I. Just the right size for us. I wish there was more privacy surrounding the hot tub/back porch. Those staying across the creek kept shining their flashlights over toward us while were on the back porch. Very unsettling.There was a vinegar odor coming from the cupboards, which was weird. Although a simple rinse off seemed to do the trick.

Family Winter Trip

Thank you so much for letting us stay at your cabin. We found it to be comfortably cozy as the cold came into the area. The back porch looks over a beautiful creek and we enjoyed that very much. We used the fire pit every night and it just added to our enjoyment. (We brought our own firewood.) The location is great allowing us to hunt for waterfalls and go into Gatlainburg or Pigeon Forge without spending the whole day driving. It would be nice if you would supply a bit more towels, hand soap and better kitchen pans. We would definitely stay here again.
