Wonderfully secluded cabin! We enjoyed the seclusion and peacefulness of the location. Close enough to hiking activities without traffic. Impressed with how well built the cabin was. We liked the off-grid utilities and it got us thinking how we could add some features to our home in the future. I kind of liked not having a microwave and reverting to old school cooking and heating methods. Would stay here again.

Thank you so much for your review. I am so glad you enjoyed your stay. We love coming up there when we can. You are welcome to come back when you are able.
Amazing stay! Perfect location and a great getaway weekend. Everything was great. Nice hot water, amenities perfectly placed. Loved the back porch and the views! We will definitely be back!
Cozy cabin that had amazing views! The fall colors were absolutely gorgeous. They had wood on site for fire pit, walking sticks and headlamps that came in handy. The rocking chairs on the back porch gave comfort while absorbing the views. The hostess quickly replied to all of our questions about the property and the hiking trails in the area. If you and your partner need to get out and recharge this is the spot!
We were very happy to have Cory visit with us. He was very pleasant. Followed the house rules. He left the cabin spotless. I would be more than happy to rent to him again
This is the second time we have stayed here. We love the seclusion of this property! Just because it’s off the grid don’t worry about that, you would never know you are running on solar. We will be back!
The cabin is so beautiful when you drive up, and was furnished with everything we needed to be comfortable! We had to cut our trip one day short, but enjoyed our short stay!

Beautiful property and cabin. We loved our stay and didn't want to leave! We'll be returning for our vacations in the future! The patio has the perfect ridge/valley view that has a beautiful night sky view with plenty of stars. You might be able to see the milky way from here!
We loved this cabin! It was very secluded and quite which is what we wanted. Being that it’s off the grid I worried about water pressure but we had plenty of hot water and pressure. We will definitely go back to this place!
The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed. The water is amazing and the cabin is very private. We enjoyed coffee in the morning, while sitting on the back deck, enjoying the views. Saw occasional deer! Highly recommend as a get away for 2!
We had a wonderful time. Its beautiful, clean and all you would need. Very peaceful and very secluded. I just wish we had a better view of the sunset or sunrise.
This cabin was an excellent escape from the big city. The mountain side gave us a perfect view of the snow blowing through the valley. And we had fun exploring the adjacent state forest area. We didn’t mind the unpaved road going to the cabin - it felt like an adventure. We saw plenty of turkey, deer, songbirds and many many stars.
