We really enjoyed our stay here. If you have little ones, there is space for sledding right at the house which is a HUGE pro! The location couldn't be better and the view is phenomenal. The beds are comfy, the layout is really nice, and the hot tub was a major bonus. We definitely look forward to coming back!

Favorite Trip of the Year

This was our 4th time staying here and it never disappoints. Perfect location as it is near the sledding hill. House is well kept and has just about everything you need! No stairs makes it family friendly if you have little ones. Fire pit outside is perfect for the cold winter days and the side of the house is perfect for sledding if there is plenty of snow!

Such a wonderful stay with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets to witness over the mountains.., short 5 min drive to ski at Beech… can walk to the sledding hill! The interior was so enjoyable with master on one side and 2 other bedrooms on the opposite side! We’ll be back!!

Amazing every time!

This was our third year staying here! We absolutely love it. House is equipped with everything you need. It’s family and children friendly with only one story and it’s walking distance to the sledding hill and brick oven pizza place! The side of the house is also perfect for Sledding after a snowfall and has amazing views! We love it here and are always excited to come back! Only thing it’s missing is a hot tub!

Best at Beech

This home was perfect! It had just enough room for our party of four. I liked the great room and dining room combo and the deck had an awesome view of the mountains. There is also a level backyard, so kids can play, have a fire in the fire pit, and observe the deer feeding at dusk. Check was easy with a code and the home was very clean, well decorated, and had very organized supplies. I give it 5 stars!

Clean and well stocked

The property was spotless, well laid out and stocked. We always bring extra dish detergent, paper towels, trash bags, etc when we get a rental house. None of that was necessary here. Pantry was stocked with staples as well. No running to the store for Pam, salt, pepper etc. There were some discrepancies in check out procedure between the listing and paperwork at the house, but nothing major. When we arrived there was a stronger smell from air fresheners, but that was easily remedied. The location was perfect. Easy to get in and out and easy drive to the slopes. One of the best maintained vacation rentals we have stayed in.

Great home in a gorgeous location!

Gorgeous mountain views, lovely great room with a nice gas fireplace, and a fun fireplace for hanging out at night. Kitchen has most equipment you need plus basic oils and spices. Bathrooms oddly have soap but no shampoo. Check in and out requires you to go down the road to get keys. Not a big deal but would be more convenient to have the keys left inside since you are given the garage code anyway. Also, considering we are paying a cleaning fee, having to strip the beds and take trash down the road to the dump? Seems odd for just a few day stay. Be aware that the hottub is not able to be used due to covid. Would have been great to be out there with that gorgeous view. That said, it is a great house and very relaxing for hanging out. Very enjoyable trip!

Great house needs a little maintenance.

Location and house was very nice. Few things that were disappointing was toilet broke twice, heater in master didn’t work, and hot tub was broken. Owner tried to file an insurance claim on us with the already brokeN hot tub. Hot tub wanted to definitely be used. That didn’t feel so nice considering we left the house above spotless. She did have the nerve to take advantage of filing a broken paper towel holder on us. Don’t get me wrong like I said nice house, location, and property just didn’t feel right being questioned about a hot tub (broken before arrival and very much wanted to use) and the claim of a paper towel holder...

Amazing place

The house is beautiful. The views from the deck are gorgeous. The pictures in the listing are not even close to how awesome it looks. The location is extremely convenient. The roads are all paved and there are many restaurants very close by. The only grocery store in the mountain is only about two blocks from the house. We prepared Thanksgiving's dinner there, and the house had all the cooking ware and appliances we could need. The communication with the owner is very good and she helped accommodate our needs. We had deer visiting at the backyard every day and the kids loved it. I guess it would have been nice having a working hot tub outside, but the home's positives vastly outweigh this. Our only pain point was disposing of the trash. There's supposedly a trash pass to use at the local Beech mountain dumpster, which is also very close, but we could never get it at the management office cause "we could lose it". So every time we would have to take our trash bags to the other side of the mountain to the management office instead of a few blocks away. We really loved our time at the house and had such an amazing time there.

Perfect Getaway

My family and I stayed at the property since it was in walking distance of a family wedding being held at the Lookout Barn Venue. The house is also in walking distance of stores, several restaurants. The house was very clean and we loved the backyard privacy and fire pit. Beautiful views from every room!
