CONVENIENT LOCATION:
Located at over 5,000 feet in elevation, the Emerald View house is one of the highest homes East of the Mississippi. It is in the perfect location! Walking distance to the center of the town of Beech Mountain sledding, restaurants, Fred's General Store. Easy walk to Beech Mountain Ski Resort overflow parking and on the free shuttle bus route to the ski village. Located only 10 min. from the town of Banner Elk. It serves as a great resting stop to visit Wineries, Grandfather Mountain, Mast General Store, Blue Ridge Parkway and Roan Mountain.

THE HOME:
The Emerald View house is one of the most exceptional homes on Beech Mountain. It is a newer built, 1-story home with easy access and a garage to park in. Luxurious for a couple, or perfect for a family of 4 with Grandparents to join. There is a large open living/dining area with wonderful southern mountain views, vaulted wood plank ceiling, expansive windows, hardwood floors, gas stone fireplace, 50' flat screen HDTV, and a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and breakfast bar. It has a split floorplan and large wrap-around porch with a grill and seating area.

Bedrooms:
• Master Suite: The spacious master suite has a king size bed with a fireplace, sitting area and office area. The en-suite includes a large walk-in closet, double vanity, walk-in shower and luxurious Jacuzzi tub.
• Guest Bedroom 1: Queen Bed
• Guest Bedroom 2: Full Bed, Twin Bed, Twin Trundle
The house has a split floor plan and the guest bedrooms share a full bath

Outside: A large wrap around exterior deck provides private mountain views with a gas grill and outdoor seating area. The gently sloping, spacious backyard has a fire-pit and is a great place to explore the large trees, pick wild blueberries and enjoy the cool mountain air. It is the perfect location for a quality family time or a peaceful evening watching the wildlife. A family of wild turkeys, hummingbirds, deer all graze through the yard.

The house is maintained by Beech Mountain Resort Lodging located at 1103 Beech Mountain Parkway next to Ski Resort Entrance.

Amazing every time!

This was our third year staying here! We absolutely love it. House is equipped with everything you need. It’s family and children friendly with only one story and it’s walking distance to the sledding hill and brick oven pizza place! The side of the house is also perfect for Sledding after a snowfall and has amazing views! We love it here and are always excited to come back! Only thing it’s missing is a hot tub!

Amazing place

The house is beautiful. The views from the deck are gorgeous. The pictures in the listing are not even close to how awesome it looks. The location is extremely convenient. The roads are all paved and there are many restaurants very close by. The only grocery store in the mountain is only about two blocks from the house. We prepared Thanksgiving's dinner there, and the house had all the cooking ware and appliances we could need. The communication with the owner is very good and she helped accommodate our needs. We had deer visiting at the backyard every day and the kids loved it. I guess it would have been nice having a working hot tub outside, but the home's positives vastly outweigh this. Our only pain point was disposing of the trash. There's supposedly a trash pass to use at the local Beech mountain dumpster, which is also very close, but we could never get it at the management office cause "we could lose it". So every time we would have to take our trash bags to the other side of the mountain to the management office instead of a few blocks away. We really loved our time at the house and had such an amazing time there.

Best at Beech

This home was perfect! It had just enough room for our party of four. I liked the great room and dining room combo and the deck had an awesome view of the mountains. There is also a level backyard, so kids can play, have a fire in the fire pit, and observe the deer feeding at dusk. Check was easy with a code and the home was very clean, well decorated, and had very organized supplies. I give it 5 stars!

Great Vacation

We enjoyed our two week stay at Beech Mountain.We always stay at the Emerald View House.Always clean,has everything you need, close to restaurants and we feel safe.The owner is so nice and helpful.Looking forward to going back next May and September.😊
