Absolutely stunning home with lots of privacy and plenty of room. The outdoor wood burning fireplace on the screened porch was a big plus. Big jacuzzi, great game room & plenty of tv’s. Good communication with the property manager… We definitely would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay beautiful cabin, area, peaceful, spacious, great game room, saw mama and 2 fawns out back, built fire on screen porch roasted marshmallows, did some gem mining, waterfalls and a orchard.
We did have trouble with no TV's called owner on Friday (we arrived Thurs. night). Told us some things we could try, didn't work, called again on Saturday sent maintenance man on Sunday he couldn't fix either..got a call on Mon. From direct TV, also not able to fix, we checked out Tuesday morning. The listing shows amenities not there, playground, marked trail it's not marked well and the its very overgrown. cleaning could have been better, pans dirty, oven dirty, king room toilet dirty, towels left in washer had to rewash and dry.The grill could use some attention auto lite quit working and the grates don't fit right. Also gas fireplace in the living room pilot light not lit. I was afraid of gas leak but did have carbon monoxide reader there and maintenance did fix it on Sunday. I'm sure once the owner, cleaner, maintenance all get on same page this place will be awesome...would like to give better review but we did have issues.

I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. Yes, it is very peaceful, spacious with a great game room! With acreage in the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest, wildlife roam. There was a problem with Directv and they did have to change out both the wiring and dish due to a spike in a recent storm. Luckily there was a Roku stick which allowed them access to all sorts of SmartTV apps, shows, movies and music.
On VRBO's website, they ask what is nearby (within 15 miles) of the property to which there is a beautiful recreation park 4 miles down Blue Ridge Drive which does have a large gym, playground, ball fields, fishing ponds and a future swimming pool. On the phone, I spoke to the guest about these amenities including our marked trail with at least 13 markers tapped into the trees. In the summer, there is more growth and it is so beautiful with all the fern, moss and creek that rushes by. In winter, some of the growth dies back and lends itself to the changing of the leaves and fauna.
Lastly, on Friday, July 19 guests emailed me stating that they tried to light the fireplace and that the pilot light went out. I called the gas company and went through a checklist stating guests should be fine with a maintenance person coming the next morning to relight the pilot. The carbon monoxide detector is within a few feet of the fireplace which continuously monitors. While maintenance was at the cabin, he took care of the other items and guests were satisfied.
