It’s not a Days Inn

Listed as Days Inn and talks about the pool. It doesn’t say Days Inn anywhere at the building. The attached restaurant has been closed for years. The pool was broken and closed. The room was fine but the place is very run down. Someone came and said their room was flooding from the air conditioner while we were checking in. Our room was fine but the drain in the sink was very very slow to drain. Would not stay there again.

The staff were friendly and seemed to be doing the best they could in this no win situation. The building is in deplorable condition outside and inside. It looked like it'd been built in the '70's, 'upgraded' to the early '90's and never touched again except by the courageous staff trying to keep it afloat. Holes, rips, stains, no deadbolt locks, no keyed entry into building. The homeless people in the grassy area across the parking lot were unaware or waiting for cover of darkness. Didn't stay to find out and couch surfed elsewhere. I hope they used my $200 donation wisely.

Nasty

This place needs to be bulldozed. It's filthy and looks nothing like the photos. The rooms are filthy, stinky and just gross. It smelled like natural gas in the hallways. There was one bath towel, 1 washcloth and half a roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. The blanket had cigarette burns in it. The couch was caved in and so dirty I covered it with the nasty blanket so I didn't have to look at it.we would of left and not returned but where running late to a wedding and only had time to change and leave quick. We got back late that night and didn't want to drive around to look for a different place.do no book here, We got up before daylight and left as I couldn't stand to be there any longer after reading reviews about cockroaches and bed bugs there.

Hot room with used condom on floor

The management didn’t help us at all. We walked into a room that was hot and smelly. Shortly after putting our stuff in the bed we noticed that there was a used condom by the sofa. We also got a 1 bed room instead for a 2 bed. We contacted management and informed them of the issues. They said they will send us someone to come clean and fix the AC. We waited over 2 hours and nothing. Everytime we got in contact with management they gave us another excuse. We started trying to do a refund with vrbo but when vrbo contacted them they said that management will send us the cleaning people and the AC. When we came back at midnight everything was still there. So we grabbed our stuff and drove 3 hours back home at night instead of staying there.
