Fondren *King* Bed House in the Heart of Jackson
Charming 1939 Fondren bungalow has 1,825 square feet of living space with beautiful hardwood floors and tall ceilings in a super convenient location.
Four bedrooms, two baths, large living and dining rooms, and an enclosed laundry/utility room. Granite countertops and stainless slide in range and dishwasher in the kitchen. Off-street driveway parking and private backyard space make this a wonderful spot to call your home away from home!
We provide you with a starter pack of items for the house. We do not provide restock items.
**Guest is required to sign a Rental Agreement. Security Hold $300. Hold to be processed by Host on Guest's Credit Card. See Listing and Rental Agreement for details. Min age is at least 24 Years of Age.**
We do have some rules in place:
No smoking in our property - $500 charge if we find evidence of smoking including the smell of smoke in the property
No events or parties. You will not be refunded for your stay if you have a party and are asked to leave early. There may be up to a $1,000 charge for any clean-up or broken, destroyed, or stained items as a result of a party or event.
No pet is permitted on the property nor visiting animals. We will charge an additional $150 per animal if you bring in an additional animal into the property. If you bring an animal you claim is a service animal but does not fit the ADA's requirements, we will report you and there can be a penalty up to $1,000 and up to 6 months in jail. We take this very seriously.
MAINTENANCE AND ISSUES: Please report any maintenance needs for the premises to us and we will respond as quickly as possible. Refunds will not be made for maintenance issues including, but not limited to heating and air conditioning, internet, appliances, plumbing, and the television.

This property is in the awesome neighborhood of Fondren. There is so much offered here - entertainment, excellent restaurants, and coffee shops.
What makes this property unique
There are three outdoor cameras with audio. There are no indoor cameras.
The smart TV requires that you use your own personal subscription log-ins. Please remember to log out of your subscriptions before your departure.
This is a fantastic street in an awesome neighborhood, but the house next door is in pretty serious disrepair. Also, there is a bit of construction at the end of the street where they are currently getting ready to build luxury apartments.
You may also encounter a few lady bugs indoors. These get in at times when the doors open and there isn't much we can do about them except shoo them out. We have regular pest control services. Please note that we are in Mississippi, and we co-exist with mosquitoes here in the hot months. Although we do employ mosquito control methods around the property, chances are you will still encounter many of these suckers. We recommend bringing and using bug spray when spending time outdoors.
The house is 83 years old and, like any old house, has its quirks. We have old cast iron pipes, and the water in the bathtub can be a little discolored when you first turn it on, but it quickly turns clear. **Most importantly, the floors are wavy and uneven**. We are not responsible for any injuries due to loss of footing. Additionally, please make sure children are supervised, especially in the back yard, again we are not responsible for any injuries.
