Great stay

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this property! The place was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities one could need. The location was perfect—close to great restaurants and attractions but still peaceful and quiet. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring I had everything I needed. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Five stars all the way!

Wonderful stay at a great house!

We had a wonderful time. The house was very well stocked with cooking utensils and supplies. The location is in a small little quiet neighborhood. The drive to the National Park was a quick and beautiful 50 minute drive. The beds were comfortable, the tv’s were huge, and the wifi was good. My oldest daughter didn’t want to sleep in the bed with her younger sister so she slept on the couch which was huge and comfortable. Cell service is pretty much nonexistent but we were warned before going so we were able to plan accordingly. We loved staying there and will look to stay there again in the future.

Cozy and comfortable

The home is definitely cozy and everything that we needed was there. The wi-fi was not great and phone calls were difficult (we have verizon) so wasn't sure what was happening. We brought our rescue dog so the yard was fabulous for him. We weren't comfortable walking the dog in the neighborhood because some dogs were running freely. The host was great and pleasant.

Softball Nationals

We came to Colorado for a softball tournament. It was challenging to get into the house because when you’re driving to the property you lose all cellular service. I would recommend looking at the check-in directions earlier. Once we were able to get in everything was wonderful. The house is unbelievably beautiful and clean. The layout is perfect for a small family. We brought our dog and the backyard was perfect for him. Everything in the home is labeled making it easy to find what you need. The Wi-Fi was easy to set up. The entertainment in the home from plenty to watch on TV to family games made the stay memorable. It’s also close to lake Carter which is beautiful. We would highly recommend this property and hope to come back next year.

I grew up in Colorado and have always loved the bright sunny days and the fresh mountain air. I enjoy crafting, crochet, sewing, gardening and home improvement projects. I enjoy hosting guest at Mary's House letting them have a nice quite place to enjoy time away.

Why they chose this property

We love this little mountain valley neighborhood. It is quite without the noise of traffic, only the neighborhood chickens and goats, where you can sit outside and enjoy the song birds.

What makes this property unique

Besides being able to relax in the quite mountain neighborhood, the house is about a mile from Carter Lake, a popular recreational lake and campground. The location of Mary's House makes it the perfect place to plan a getaway to the lake without having to reserve your campsite months in advance and all you need to bring is the clothes, food and maybe a boat, kayak or paddleboard.
