Awesome location to relax and recharge

This property is fantastic! It is very well maintained, beautifully landscaped, and provides great views. If you're looking for a quiet place to get away from everything, but still be very comfortable, this is a great option. Ellie is a fantastic host, very helpful and kind. I loved my stay and will likely return in the future.

Perfect anniversary getaway

My wife and I made plans in both Bozeman and Helena. Toston was almost perfectly in the middle of the two and allowed us to be in either one in about 30-45 minutes. The property was exceptionally clean, and we loved the layout/design. Bill and Ellie were great hosts and provided several little extras that made us feel truly welcome at the property. If we ever decide to visit the area again, we will certainly be interested in renting the property again.

Simply Amazing

The best way I can summarize out stay at the Hideaway is PERFECT! Ellie was an amazing host. She gave us great recommendations and helped us drop our car off so we could kayak the beautiful Missouri River! We woke up to the site of bald eagles and ducks. While we were kayaking we saw otters and a fawn. Highly recommend this property. I have stayed in several VRBOs, but Ellie really makes the Hideaway extra special!

The Hideaway is just as it is portrayed on the website. It has everything you would ever need. The layout of the space was well thought out with a large bathroom (with bathtub!) and lots of outside areas to enjoy the view. Ellie was exceptional. She left us a wonderful bottle of wine and delicious cheese plate which we enjoyed immediately. We would not hesitate to stay again in the future.

The best get away

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon, and couldn’t imagine a better stay. When we got there we were blown away from the gorgeous view of the river, and the cutest guest house. We were greeted with a charcuterie board, wine and snacks, and a sweet note welcoming us. We had the best stay, and will definitely be back again. Ellie and Bill were the best hosts, and sweetest couple who really made our stay even more special.

The hosts and property were great. It's hard to tell from the photos that it is attached to the hosts' home, which we were a little concerned about when we arrived. However, it was very private and still felt like we were alone in the country. We would definitely stay here again!

A true gem outside Bozeman

If you are looking for a great solo or couple escape to rest, relax and recharge, this is the place. The owners are incredible and will spoil you! The accommodations were 5 star and perfect! The view of the river and mountains, spectacular. It was so relaxing being able to step outside on the deck, breathe in the fresh air and just “be”. The most relaxed in years! I read two books! Ellie and Bill felt like family- so kind and accommodating. Whether winter, spring, summer or fall, treat yourself to an amazing escape.

Hideaway: Heaven on Earth

I'm not often at a loss for words, but words cannot describe the comfort, beauty, design, and peace this home offers. It's evident that owners Bill & Ellie planned with their hearts in the build and decor of this welcoming hideaway. The outdoors is magnificent and the interior designed for peace and comfort. Sitting on the outdoor patio overlooking the sunrise, drinking coffee while wearing our warm and fluffy (provided) robes, listening to the Missouri River run and the train whistle in the background...it is truly heaven on earth. Close enough to Townsend, Bozeman, Helena, and more, yet far enough away to feel a peaceful and welcome seclusion. Looking forward to our next visit.

Amazing is the best description...amazing hosts, views, amenities, location. We stayed 2 nights and hated leaving. Such a better way to experience this part of the country....literally right on the riverbank with mountains in the background. Sunrises and sunsets were magic.

Loved staying at the Hideaway! It's comfortable, exceptionally clean and new. The pictures are accurate of this lovely accommodation. (amazing bed, the nicest one we have ever slept in ) Very nicely located above the Missouri river ( love the sound of gently rushing water) with incredible views of the river and the mountains on all sides. Close to either Helena or Bozeman. You could easily travel to Yellowstone for the day and return the same night to a bonfire by the river and a glass of wine! When you come you must visit the Lewis and Clark Caverns, amazing. You will not be disappointed when you stay here. Thanks Bill and Ellie for a wonderful time.
