About this property
Paradise Loft at Timber Creek
This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit... easy I-90 access... 15 minutes to seattle, 10 minutes to bellevue, 15 minutes to Redmond and 25 minutes to the Pass .. driving into the Seattle for a game or concert at one of the stadiums is extremely convenient and quick if timed right to miss traffic…situated on 3 acres with Lewis Creek running thru it, can also walk out to the park and take a trail to the lake with a little sandy beach and be there in 5 minutes, enjoy a little bit of country close to everything. You'll feel like you're in the country but costco, and every major grocery store is less then 2 miles away!! :) Free to roam in field and light a bonfire along the creek... (provided there are no burn bans) fire pit is available ! The bedroom is situated in the loft and requires you to climb a relatively steep set of library ladder stairs to access, but is very cozy. Old and arthritic people like myself can still get up there, but it’s not as easy as it used to be! :) There are tv’s both upstairs and downstairs and a comfortable electric fireplace provides both ambiance, and heat if desired. Guest access Guest can access the loft from either the front or the back of the building with the same access code provided. Parking is available in front of the loft along the fence, you’ll see a reserved parking sign to pull up to. Guest are encouraged to wander around the property and out into the field to take it all in if time permits…You may be greeted by a bark or two from our two golden retrievers across the fence, Max and Samson, but they’re harmless and just like attention. There are several restaurants in the area as well as an incredible amount of delivery options, so your food choices are plentiful.

Very cute little cottage like, with a loft for sleeping area. Bed was really comfy. It was really peaceful and quiet. Resteraunts and stores nearby within a couple miles. Host was very nice and communicated quickly. Will stay again if in the area.
We absolutely loved our short time here! The cabin is perfectly appointed, clean and organized. The night we stayed was really blustery and just pouring rain nonstop until the sun broke through the early morning clouds but we were warm and cozy the whole time! We're so glad we decided to stay the night rather than driving back home to Ruston after a concert at Marymoor Park. We hope to do a "staycation" here again! The owners were quick to respond to questions before we arrived and we felt welcomed by the personal touches they made both inside and outside all around this beautiful property. Check-in/out was a breeze and the property is easy to access.
Well-stocked kitchen, with lots of coffee and snacks provided. Comfy furniture and bed. Easy lockbox check-in. Very quiet neighborhood near Lk Sammamish park, not far from shops. I appreciated the sturdy grab bars on the ladder to the loft.
The amenities were great! The cabin itself was cozy and clean, with everything you could possibly need for a staycation. Paul and Michelle set everything up, including filling the coffee machine with water and lining the oven with tinfoil—and it’s small things like that that matter. The location itself is also very convenient, would recommend this place to others for sure
Great property! Very cozy and relaxing with all your needs covered. Great bed / mattress. Great area! Owners made the check-in and check-out processes extremely easy.
Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
The hosts were amazing! The cabin was cozy and warm. The lighting was soft and the bed was super comfy! We will be going back our next trip over to Seattle!
We had a wonderful time, the hosts were very communicative through all points of the process and the space was clean and comfortable! The whole experience also felt very private despite ‘sharing’ the property with the hosts, which actually added peace of mind that they could help if anything went wrong (nothing did of course). Thank you!!!
Great space for a romantic get away or a solo retreat. Very clean with plush blankets and rugs. Full kitchen with Keurig machine, full fridge, oven, plates, cups, mugs, silverware, etc. Quiet location, very relaxing.
A lovely break from city living which isn’t far from trails, the interstate or places to eat. Hosts were so responsive, even with my silly questions about the lock as I was checking in. The place is also loaded with snacks and refreshments just in case.
Quiet enough to feel far from the city, but near enough to the city to have fun. This was the perfect spot for us to celebrate our anniversary. The property was beautiful with a creek that ran through it. Cabin was well stocked with everything we needed included coffee pods, water and some snacks. The loft ladder was easy to use and the bed was comfy.
We were very impressed with this loft cabin. Very comfortable, cute as heck, the owners were very thoughtful and super easy to deal with. Loved that it was next to a greenbelt with a trail to the lake. Even tho it’s very close to the freeway, you couldn’t hear the road noise from inside. Will definitely go back!

Thanks for the nice review Laura…hope to have you again in the future
Sweet little loft with great amenities, cleanliness, and communication. Owner lives on property and pride of ownership abounds. Hot tub was not functional but hopefully that will be rectified in short order.
The paradise loft was so cute, cozy, clean, and perfect. My husband and I only stayed the night but I wish we could've stayed longer! Everything was very clean, the bathroom felt luxurious. They provided coffee and snacks which was a very nice touch. The bed was so comfy and the check in/out process was very easy! I wish we could've explored the area a little more too but it felt very tucked away, quiet, and private. Would highly recommend!
We stayed here so we didn’t have to leave our homes early for a hike nearby. The place looks just as the pictures and even cuter in person. N I loved all the little snack and treats they had for first to enjoy. lol overall 5 out of 5 stars. And we had great communication with every question we had.
We enjoyed our stay at Paradise Loft. The quaint cabin was charming with little lights both inside out outside the cabin. There were snacks to enjoy and cozy blankets inside. We enjoyed the outside cushioned seating with a heater to enjoy the evening air. We strolled by the creek and spotted cottontails hopping in the field. We had a lovely morning walk on the nearby trail that leads to the lake. It was close to the main road to get to places we wanted to see, but felt like a little hide away in the forest. Paul was a friendly and helpful host.
It was an amazing cozy cottage. I wish I could of spend more time enjoying the amenities. I was busy on the lake working on my kayak skills. it was nice to come back after a exhausting day to a very cozy place to relax.
the kitchen was well stocked and cottage was spotless
it was better then I could ever expect. no doubt 10/10
Booking this stay for my 50th high school reunion, I didn't realize after having been away for so long, that the VRBO was a few blocks from my grade school! It also was convenient to Issaquah and the site of our party. I gave the place one less star for highway traffic noise---maybe more sound insulation could be added to the loft? Otherwise, it met my needs in every respect.

About the host
Hosted by Paul Mangan
Originally from Vermont, but have called Washington home for over 30 yrs…you’ll find an east coast summer camp by the lake kinda vibe on the property. The property is occasionally visited by deer, coyotes, bobcats and plenty of rabbits…and it wouldn’t be uncommon to see a bald eagle hovering over the field on occasion. The place feels like a piece of country, yet close to everything. It buts up to a forested park leading to the lake on one side and a creek and green belt on the other…so it’s a comfortably private setting when you’re out walking around . The Koakanie salmon run up the creek in late October early November…sometimes thinker then others. We’ve tried to think of everything for making your stay here completely comfortable and homey on the inside, and warm and inviting on the outside
Why they chose this property
The neighborhood and surrounding area is very safe and family oriented which has made it a very comfortable place to be for the last 23yrs
What makes this property unique
This is one of the last undeveloped parcels of land this size in Issaquah…it is zoned for potential development but I’ve chosen to keep the farm like feel that it offers… originally built in 1942, the main house was at that time a mess hall for a lumber company that forested in the area… the cabin was added well after that and the loft was an old storage building that I converted to a rental. The property offers a very rustic feel, and we’re confident you’ll feel right at home and comfortable during your stay.
