Enjoyable stay

The property was very nice. The garden area really made it a nice and private entrance into the property. I was staying for work, and they offered everything I needed to cook meals, get a good nights rest, and relax in the evenings. Excellent pressure and very nice shower. I enjoyed my stay.

Quiet and Convenient

We stayed during the Shawnigan Lake rowing regatta. The suite is quiet and well taken care of. The location is very convenient for getting to & from the provincial park. Both my children are graduates now so I can let this secret out and recommend it for parents coming to watch or volleyball between.

Had a wonderful stay, bed is super comfortable, shower was amazing. The washer dryer combo was also amazing. Everything is there for you which is great! The area is fairly remote and it would be almost impossible to stay without a vehicle for access to restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations or pharmacy. My only critique would be mentioning this as Ubers and such don’t come to this area :)

Lovely place!!!

Such a lovely place, the only downfall is that it is quite far from stores, beaches, etc. - there is only one taxi in town and they are VERY expensive. You really do need a car.

Private, clean accommodation, exactly as pictures portray.Furnishing’s (including bed) and fixtures are good quality.We booked Shawnigan Lake so we could explore the west side of Vancouver Island, as well drive north and west on the Island.The location was perfect for that.Mary was quick to respond to any communication. Tho we had no complaints in the whole visit - we stayed 4 nights.Thank you Mary!***This comment is no reflection on the hosts, just an observation on location.If you are planning to stay in Shawnigan Lake and travel back and forth south on the Island -to Victoria, be aware of Malahat highway traffic. We found it to be consistently slow and even blocked one day. Stay closer to Victoria if you’re planning a city of Victoria holiday.

Very nice clean quiet place to stay ....however fee advertised is for ONE person only. Pay close attention to fine print. There is an additional charge per night for a second person. When we inquired if this was a mistake as we have never encountered a surcharge for two people staying at a VRBO. This is the hosts response'The home can accommodate up to 2 guests; however, similar to a hotel, when the number of guests exceeds the number of beds, the nightly rate increases per person. This helps account for general wear and tear, as well as additional laundry and cleaning time.There is an additional fee for the second guest.'we were charge 50 extra per night for our 3 night stay.
