The Neighborhood:
Attention nature lovers and adventure seekers! Our mountaintop retreat, located just five minutes from the quaint Village of Ellenville, is the perfect home base for your next Hudson Valley getaway. Surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, including Lake Minnewaska, Sam's Point, and Ice Cave Mountain, you'll have no shortage of opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, and exploring. Plus, our location is just 20 minutes from the Shawangunk Wine Trail, making it easy to indulge in some of the region's finest vintages.
But that's not all – we've also got something special in store for foodies. one of the people we partner with is the owner of Aroma Thyme Bistro, a farm-to-table restaurant that he opened in 2003, has been recognized as the Hudson Valley's Best Stocked Bar and Most Awarded Restaurant. And if you're feeling extra indulgent, we can even send a private chef to cook for your group. But don't just take our word for it – come taste for yourself with our complimentary wine tasting at Aroma Thyme Bistro.
Golfers, we've got you covered too. There are three courses within a 10-15 minute drive of our retreat. And for those looking for a little more excitement, the Northeast Off-Road Adventures offers thrilling jeep tours, and there's even a hang gliding school in Ellenville.
And when you're ready for a change of pace, there's plenty to do beyond our mountaintop retreat. The Shadowland Theatre in Ellenville offers professional equity live theater, and the Bethel Woods and Woodstock Museum are just 25 minutes away. You can also try your luck at the Catskill World Resorts Casino, or splash around at The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark.
So don't wait – start planning your Hudson Valley getaway today!
Getting Around:
You can arrive on a bus to Ellenville and take a 5-minute cab ride to the property. There are taxis and limited Ubers in the area.
However, your own car is best.
Our partner also provides a designated driving service for wine tours. His vetted drivers will drive your car. And for larger groups, He can arrange a van and driver. We can even plan your full wine, brewery, and distillery tour.
Other Things to Note:
Please make sure to accurately reflect the number of people in your reservation to avoid additional fees. The base price for the house is for 10 people, with a charge of $85 per night for each additional person beyond that. These fees may apply even after check-in, so be sure to have an accurate headcount to avoid any surprises.
We recommend buying travel insurance to the platform or through an outside third-party company. This will further protect your trip if you have to cancel outside of the cancellation window. Please note that every policy is different.
25 or older only for the person booking the property.
Our rural property provides a peaceful escape, but we cannot control acts of nature or guarantee uninterrupted electricity or other services.
Thank you for your cooperation!
