Amazing place with incredible hosts

A beautifully decorated home, quaint, with beautiful touches of love everywhere! The fire pit in the back is great for evenings. It was perfect! The hosts were extremely fast to respond and they were amazing! I would definitely stay here again if I come to this area. I wish all hosts were this amazing! Truly wonderful!

Cute, comfortable and clean. Close to downtown. Nice quiet neighborhood. Hosts helped us resolve wi-fi issue by coming to the house in just a few minutes. Very friendly and welcoming hosts.

This house was so lovely. It was clean, super comfortable and I loved the location. There isn’t anything I didn’t love about this spot. Will definitely stay only here the next time I go visit.

Great house!

The house was clean and comfortable. Quite neighborhood and plenty to do close. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Only negative was the air conditioning struggled to keep up during the heat of the day and the bedrooms would get warm.

Beautiful Home, Great Neighborhood!

We stayed the weekend here and it was so nice! Great central location to downtown and shopping, neighborhood felt extremely safe! Property was very clean and well maintained, inside was so cute - felt very high end, outside has beautiful yards, nice porch for sitting and great back patio & fire pit area. We would definitely come back!

Quick Visit to an Awesome Texas town

Three day exploratory visit to McKinney Texas. Quaint home, excellent curb appeal. Interior achieved the difficult balance of classy, welcoming, and functional. Kitchen well equipped and organized. Great home near downtown McKinney

The Dwelling Place is a great little house within walking distance of downtown McKinney. The house was perfect for us. It had all the amenities we would want and was incredibly clean and well decorated. The hosts were very attentive and responsive, making sure we had eveything we needed. We definitely recommend this home and hope to stay there again sometime.

This home has been restored well. Everything was as advertised too. The home is in a comfortable neighborhood very close to downtown McKinney. The has been restored well but maintained the classic details. We were extremely comfortable indoors as well as outside areas. Would stay again anytime.

Totally remodeled. Kathy has impeccable taste with attention to every detail. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, and cozy front and back porches complete this peaceful get away. Truly a gem in the heart of McKinney Downtown Historic district. Loved my walks.

Great house!

Girls weekend! This house is within walking distance (.7 miles) from downtown McKinney. We went to the Wine Walk, had dinner and drinks at The Yard (fantastic place with tons of outside sitting areas) and ended at the Speak Easy on the square. The house is beautifully decorated and well appointed. Nice neighborhood and the owner is extremely responsive. Would definitely recommend!!!

Delightful home!!

We live in McKinney and our bathroom flooded. I needed a comfortable place to stay for a bit. The Dwelling is a beautiful old home that has been restored in a most lovely way. Everything is clean and fresh- truly delightful. Kathy has been so hospitable and helpful to me. This is a GEM in McKinney. I HIGHLY recommend it to everyone!!!

Beautiful home near historic McKinney

My daughter, two grandchildren and I stayed in this beautiful home and enjoyed the quaint historic town. The home was well appointed and all the details have been handled and taken care of. The street was super quiet and we especially enjoyed the front porch swing. Communication with the host was efficient and responsive. We would love to stay here again.
