My husband & I were attending a workshop at Amana & saw this darling apartment available at Belle Plaine, IA. It is located in the downtown area (the old buildings are gorgeous!) above a coffee shop that has the best lattas ever! The apartment had everything - Lovely, beautiful wood floors and trim, washer & dryer, full kitchen, TVs in bedrooms & living room & easy parking in front of the building. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!
The character of this apartment is unmatched. It has so much positive energy. One of the guests is trained in feng shui. The bedroom next to the kitchen could be rearranged by placing the bed against the wall with the windows. This follows the concept that the feet should not be facing towards the rooms exit.
Very nice stay for the two nights that we were in the area. Well thought out amenities in all of the rooms, and we felt right at home. Thank you, Heaather !!
This was the perfect spot for our weekend getaway - my two daughters and myself. Heather’s place was so cute, very clean and cozy, and had everything we needed, plus many other thoughtful amenities, such as hairspray, curling iron, tons of great movies. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend and stay there again!
We had the most wonderful time! Everything was perfect, clean, accessible. The charm of this rental was so perfect I will definitely stay there again. Heather the vintage vibe I got when I walked in made me feel like I was visiting an old friend. Thank you again for this amazing place!
My best friend and I met in Belle Plaine for a visit. My three teenagers accompanied me. Beds were comfortable, even the trundle bed; we cooked several meals and were pleased with the cooking and baking supplies provided in the kitchen. It was fun staying over the coffee shop and we enjoyed massages with Beth, the massage therapist who rents space downstairs.
This was a great stay! Very cozy, well-thought out and equipped place. Heather is an amazing host - she was super responsive and even tried to help us find a pack n' play in the evening when we forgot ours at home. There are active train tracks a block away and the trains do blow their horns at night, so if you're sensitive to noise that is something to consider. Earplugs were waiting for us on the night stands and there is a sound machine too. All in all, lovely place, would definitely recommend over staying in a hotel!
